Looking back, Ricky Hatton should have avoided Mr. Floyd Joy Sinclair at all costs

    :rofl

He did not damage Floyd once in the fight, he had no chance.

Cortez didn't do ****, any ref would have led to the same damn result, Floyd knocking Hatton out. :thumbsup

Floyd is far better than Hopkins.

Far different gaps in skill, a 30 year old Mayweather vs a 43 year old Hopkins.

    That Mayweather was brutal. :thumbsup

Floyd doesnt do brutal and HBO had him two rounds up at the start of the 10th.

One of Floyd biggest wins was against a slow , white 140 lbs fighter. On Mannys its just another win

Harold Lederman can't score fights. I thought that was universal knowledge

    The judges had it

    89-81, 89-81, 88-82. :deal

Floyd's win over Hatton is far better than Manny's win.

Hatton was damaged goods when he got to Manny

Floyd beat an undefeated 43-0 Hatton whose confidence was at its peak and not damaged. :hi:

Hatton had just beaten a very good fighter in Malignaggi and was being trained by the best in the world and didnt last 6 minutes.

He fought Floyd with a really limited trainer and was 5lbs overweight.

Floyd just didnt have the skills to exploit Hattons weaknesses as quickly as Manny did.

"A very good fighter" Stretching a bit huh?

He fought a prime Mayweather and looked clueless in there, he never hurt him once. Fact is: Hatton didn't belong in there with him, the skill difference was massive.

Hatton won literally 1 round if you're charitable. The 5th.

How anyone gave him any more, I haven't a clue.

He even stated himself recently that after the Mayweather bout, every punch felt like bricks and every punch felt like it was going to knock him out. Mayweather damaged him, permanently.

Similar to Chavez/Taylor. Just like how Taylor was never the same, Hatton was also never the same.

    So he should duck challengers?

Hatton did what great boxers used to do, take risks

    He failed, so what

When has Floyd taken on a challenge of that caliber

Hatton did not have the cowardzaghe option of waiting till Floyd was 40something and then beating up and showboating on an old man.

And I suspect that even if he did have that option, he would NEVER take it, it is the way of cowardice. Hatton is greater than Joe Calzaghe, simply because as put by boxing experts, joe did nothing great.

Only Joe Cowardzaghe takes the way of cowardzaghe, Froch, Benn, Eubank would never dream of stooping so low, they were all greater than joe.

Do you ever have anything good or constructive to say regarding a fighter or fight?

But why? He's a boxer. Ricky didn't need an excuse not to fight PAC. Floyd didn't need special tests to fight Ricky... Ricky didn't need it for PAC. Why would a fighter need an excuse not to fight unless he didn't want to fight?

I've never once come across a post regarding two fighters where you've been complementary of both.

Are you an ex elite level boxer or trainer?

If Glass Jaw Ricky 'Hit & Hold' Hatton fought in America for his whole career instead of the UK where he was coddled by crooked Referees and Judges he would have had 10 losses.

You've obviously never seen a his fights then have you.

Plus with what I've seen of the recent US home cooking refereeing it's a good job he didn't.
