Tony Thompson Vs a streaking David Price, a durable sneaky southpaw, plus the immediate rematch which did for Prices confidence forever.

    Madness.

Khan Prescott, he'd already been over a few times against smaller fighters, what was the thinking?!

Brook GGG is the stupidest one of recent years, Brook was at his peak, GGG was close to his. Just bonkers

Brook is only slightly smaller than Golovkin and you can see it in the ring. Brook was a massive cutter and really a 154 at least. I think he actually weighed more than Golovkin or it was neck and neck.

Brook had two things going for him that night that made the fight happen, firstly that he had the British judges on his side and was probably going to rob Golovkin if he survived 12. But the biggest thing was that he and his coach had a deal that they'd just throw in the towel as soon as things got rough, which was actually dishonest to the fans. They pretended to be brave getting in the ring with GGG but actually had a safety clause nobody else did. And that's why the fight ended so quickly, and would have ended quicker but the ref didn't see the towel.

Bute didn't have a bad chin. Look at how many clean shots he took from Froch before succumbing. He was getting absolutely hammered for a number of rounds after getting hurt that first time.

Ruiz wasn't a bad match, he's not very good. Who else has he beaten? It's just AJ messed up his American conquest and proved he had no heart. I think Hearn was surprised and had to reassess his brand.

    Kamboses

The guy sucks when matched against slick boxers and yet that's all he seems to want to fight.

The loss didn't derail Gary's career. He got another shot and won another title in less than a year. What derailed his career was his inactivity from that point on.

I don´t know. Ward and Johnson gave him trouble from the opening bell.
Bute started off on the front foot heavy and Froch was quite tame. Froch launched an occasional burst of flurries but to no avail. Bute kept his composure and started pressuring him again. Halfway through the round Froch clearly hurt Bute with a short left hook.
It was a very typical Froch round.
IMO it was a very typical Froch performance. He wasn´t more aggressive than usual, it´s just that Bute was visibly bothered by everything Froch landed. And Bute was not known for his toughness.

Joey Gamache vs Arturo Gatti. Joey sued NY State boxing commission because he said Gatti was 15-20 pounds over the contracted weight on fight night and that he suffered brain damage as a result of the beating he took. The judge ruled in Joey's favor without the state having to pay any damages.

    Add in Broner v Maidana

Dont get me wrong I hated Broner and was so happy when Maidana got the job done, but that was terrible matchmaking by Uncle Al
