Looking back: Vitali vs Briggs - Funny press conference

Briggs is promoting fights now and said he still plans on fighting again taking it slow. He said he is involved with a reality TV show that will document his comeback post Klitschko loss. He said he is also gonna use his comeback to promote a breakthrough asthma medication. Shannon is far from retired.

On a side note:Vitali and Shannon got along very well before and after the fight. They went fishing together,there is a few pictures of them hugging each other and Vitali said he "prayed to God that Briggs would be OK" when both Klits visited Shannon in the hospital following the fight.

Briggs earned a lot of respect that night. He wasn't really that competitive against Vitali but he got a few good shots in and showed as monstrous a chin as you can show at that level of the game.

I think only Riddick Bowe vs. Golota has taken that many powerpunches over the course of a fight to the skull.

 

well Shannon is the only HW champ to have asthma I think.

 

Briggs tore his bicep in round 1 or 2 so I cant fault him for not throwing many shots. He showed more heart than Haye.
