I have never thought much of the wlad. although he has been dominating the heavyweight scene for 10yrs and barely lost a round, i wouldnt ever get up for a klitchko fight. I wouldnt be perturbed if i missed his fights and went to bed. His cautious approach and his constant clinching would irk me no end. And alot of his recent fights have been boring the povetkin fight was atrocious, the haye fight was bad but most of the blame has to be put on the toemaker. the lepai and mormeck fights should never of happened. but he did smash them both easily without holding too much. He dealt with the tough heavyhanded wach with ease, he simply couldnt miss the pole's giant chin - that is classed as one of his best performances of recent times.

But the pulev fight made me come appreciative of wladimir. I rate pulev, i picked him to beat wladimir. I still think he is a top 5 heavyweight and would give anyone in the top 10 a good fight, And i dont think anyone would be able to drop him 5 times with single punches. Okay wlad clinched, but also reeled off some brilliant left hooks and really showed his athleticism and power. To beat kubrat pulev like that has made me less critical of wlad. I can now watch him with less judgement, and if he beats jennings in the same manner, i could definitely become a fan. Wladimir Klitchko is a great champion, will never be a fan of his like i was a fan of Lennox Lewis, But i can look on him more positively. Wladimir is a top 5 heavyweight puncher, great Jabber and can be almost impossible to hit cleanly. that takes skills and it takes a alot of boring clinching. You NEED to do it if you havent got the best punch resistance. This isnt a business where you can take a KO loss and come back the same. Although wladimir has done it 3 friggin times, that takes heart and great fortitude. Wladimir has been called a coward and a heartless, chinless bum by alot of keyboards on here. :-(

Jennings vs Klitchko 25th of april in Madison Square Garden, back to the USA, Many yanks are excited and they should be, whether or not youre a fan of the fighters, Heavyweight boxing is the ultimate, the biggest and the best men on the planet. I think it will be a good exciting fight. I hope jennings can bring some resistance but i dont think he is a typical wladimir conqueror. Wladimir will grind him down and KO Him in the 8th as per Usual. But id rather see an early knockout and pulev type perfomance. Wladimir choosing to bring out the heavy artillery!

I have a feeling Jennings will pull a Haye and drag it 12 rounds by fighting like a coward. Jennings has good defense, and once he realizes his offense is no match for Wlad, he'll go in a shell.

Wlad-Jennings will be another Wilder-Stiverne with bigger paychecks.

A better quality version. a Wilder who is refined with more power and skills vs a stiverne with stamina, athleticism and also a reach advantage.

Jennings has more power and skills than Fury, but definitely not more power than Wilder.

this isnt about fury. this about wladimir being more skillful and powerful than wilder and jennings being more athletic and fitter than stiverne.

More quality on show. how did you manage to include fury. :gsg

Ironic that you hate Klitschko when he fights like Lennox Lewis but like Klitschko when he fights like Klitschko. I wasn't a fan of Klitschko after he started fighting like Lennox Lewis and I'm glad to see he's fighting like himself again.

Wlad is not a coward, not as far as being afraid to get hit because it's painful. Just look at how he fought before, he was an offensive beast. He had three losses and realized he had to change his style to stay in the game. He did so successfully. I like and dislike Wlad as a fighter. Fights like the Povetkin fight suck, but there's always flashes of his offensive capabilities that still make me want to watch. Not many fighters have the mental strength to come back from bad defeats like that and be so successful.

Hate is a strong word. I never hated klitchko but i was never excited by him as much as lewis. i watched most of lennox lewis' later fights live as they happened, i prefer his combo punching, inside fighting, uppercuts and range and athleticism. so wlad gets ko'd and turns into a clincher. Lewis gets Ko'd and revenges his losses with style, thats one of the main differences. Lewis had a few slow boring fights but The Schooling of Tua was more impressive than the Hugging of Povetkin, but there is more too a fighters than his style that i appreciate. I loved lewis' cool, slightly arrogant demeanour. Wladimir is a nice, intelligent guy but i prefer lewis and always will.

Its been a few good years that wladimir has opened up and beat a top 5 heavyweight in such comprehensive fashion, i hope it continues.

So you don't appreciate Lewis' style yet remained a fan of Wlad despite him fighting the vast majority of his career "like Lennox Lewis" :huh

No, read carefully, I said I was a fan of his until he started fighting like Lennox Lewis, then not so much. I'm glad to see him get away from that Manny Steward/ Lennox Lewis style.

Lewis' "revenge" matches are really overrated anyway. How is it a great feat to defeat an opponent who is literally having a nervous breakdown during the fight and Rahman holding both arms straight out making a mistake a subnovice shouldn't make.

    Alright. Fair enough

I not a huge fan of Wlad due to the clinching

Same feelings towards Lewis but I can't deny that both guys are among the most effective heavys ever

Wlads fight vs Pulev was indeed very entertaining

but if he opens up against short inside guys he'll get KOd so I get why he clinches
