I liked Klitschko when he fought against Jefferson, Shufford, Barrett, Byrd, Schulz and even the first Brewster fight, after that he wasn't quite the same, no longer a "front runner" type or ***** out aggressive for a while. Against Pulev he did some clinching but towards the end he seemed to have shaken the habit and used rhythm and footwork to flatten the tough Bulgarian. Against Povetkin, Klitschko's fight was an abomination. I would have tasered the referee for allowing Klitschko to get away with too much shenanigans. That was pathetic. Povetkin deserved a fair fight that he didn't get and most of the knockdowns scored against Povetkin were bogus.
Its funny because that is when I use to be a fan of Wlad. Whats funnier is I agree with this whole post. :huh
I have always liked Vlad since I saw him win the gold medal in Atlanta, GA back in 1996, super heavyweight division. Vlad is the best heavyweight living today, by far. His punches are shorter than the other heavyweights, esp., idiots like Wilder, who throws his right hand from a mile away, easy to slip. Wilder's jab is slow, no power and his left hook not so good,he gets wild wilder and he has no balance nor does he have a good defense. Vlad's foot work is superior also. Vlad can cut off the ring on Wilder easily and walk through his jab, but Vlad's jab will knock Wilder down as it did in sparring for the Wach fight, Vlad also flattened Wilder with a left hook, beat Wilder from one side of the ring to the other. It will be extremely difficult for Wilder to land a punch. Vlad is also quicker, more experience...............Vlad will knock Wilder out and he will knock Fury out as well...................Vlad fights tall fighters better than he does shorter ones, always has for some reason..........
Wladimir will snap wilder in half. A twiglet like wilder should think twice about fighting dr steel hammer.
I have this crazy belief that Wilder's management will not allow him anywhere near Klitschko unless Klitschko starts looking old.
like he did with perennial neverman retired corrie sanders. except the other way round. and it still didn't work out well for him.
Plus a KO victory (for Wladimir). I don't believe Jennings's durability is even comparable to Stiverne's. Wladimir's punches will do tremendous damage. Furthermore, Stiverne was absolutely rocked multiple times vs. Wilder. I also believe it was his sheer pride that allowed him to sustain such punishment for the majority of 12 rounds.
