Its right, I have just looked at expedia. However to take advantage you gotta gamble early, as soon as they get wind of the potential for a few thousand brits coming out for a fight then the prices go up. Same as football as soon as venues are announced travel and accom always goes up.

Just looking on Expedia and to me it doesn't seem as cheap as it looks at first. I found a hotel etc.. and flights for 5 night in November. £682.. Bargain! But when I got to the flights bit weirdly the cheapest flights have 2 stops and take 18 hours! I couldn't be having that! so looked for one with no stops and its another 200 quid extra (one way that was) Didn't get to the return journey! 2 stops and an 18 hour journey would finish me off..

Yes I was looking at 1 stop myself to save that extra money, I used skyscanner.

went mayweather v maidana fight.Your tickets will be pricey i payed 1500 dollars for 1 ticket. The cheapest i think was 400 dollars but that said mgm arena does not have bad seat in the place.

Flights wise yeah the poster who said about the tickets going up when get wind of fight nights etc is spot on.But if book early enough should be ok.

hotel wise to be honest theres so many great deals even for top 5 star hotels will be able to get good deal there.

strippers and pool partys are the main expense in my experience but november guessing can rule pool partys out lol

Mayweather fight one of best experiences of my life highly recommend it.

I know some of you may be the organised type and want to have your tickets for the fight sorted before you fly out etc, but I know people who went to Hatton v Mayweather + Hatton Pac and tickets were being sold outside the arena for much less than what you'd pay getting them in advance.

Also if your doing Vegas for a fight, staying at the MGM is a must!

disagree on the mgm bit.Much prefer to wander down there for weigh in etc and stuff they got going on then walk away from the madness as the place is completely jammed!

Plus think theres so many better hotels

Are you kidding? Thats ridiculous. Surely a ticket to Froch/Chavez will be no more then £200?

Have a look at Thoams Cook. They do direct flights.

I'm booked to go from 5th october - 15th october with the Mrs and it came to £1000 each including a Grand King deluxe suite at the MGM for 10 nights. Not too shabby. And if you book through them you don't pay resort fee's (sometimes up to $50 a day if you go through the hotel website/expedia, 10 days x $50 = $500!!!!!)

Another way you can do it if flights go up around fight night and you have a few days here or there is fly to LA have a day or two there then travel over, buses are sound and cheap or hire a car and drive a did and it was brilliant took 3-4 hours a think. Went twice with BA and both times flights were 650 with connections via heathrow
