Ah, I didn't know he'd never scored a fight before.

I don't think I've actually sat down and watched Whitaker-Chavez since 1993. So happy to score that one. Very controversial decision.

I scored Hagler-Duran not that long ago (maybe a year or so ago) and my card is already available in the scorecard thread I think. But I can easily post it again if you want. I'd be happier watching something I haven't scored as recently as that though, so Sweet Pea-JCC is cool with me.

Pintor-Zarate is an interesting one to score - I think that one was a Fight of the Week/Fight of the Fortnight a few years back so there's already a separate scorecard thread on that to refer to if you want.

George said not to bother with Heavyweight fights as you'll come to them naturally anyway but one that is worth scoring because it is close and an either way kind of fight and it is good too is Holmes-Witherspoon. I was planning on watching that again anyway so I'd be up for scoring that too.

Do the research on who Mickey Vann and Franz Marti were, they weren't American and connected to a certain wired hair promoter who was in with Chavez.

Good one. Watched and scored that not too long ago but it's a really fun fight so would watch again.

Yeah, getting other people to score fights around your schedule (or taste) is very hard. One of these pops up on the forum about once a year. The last one really had the legs but it died in the end.

The point is, posting is easy, you can do it while you're doing three other things, but finding an hour for those of us with JOBS and SIGNIFICNAT OTHERS and ****ing kids and mortgages....sorry...sorry.

My advice, score the fight yourself and share the details in a themed thread. Maybe score a disputed draw then start a polll about it for example.

Nice idea though, feel free to keep pursuing it.

AND NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR DREAMS

I couldn’t score along with you due to other obligations (chiefly the one that pays me) but judging from the type fight you want to score and one maybe not a lot of people have scored, Salvador Sanchez vs. Patrick Ford seems like it would fit the bill.

I think you've corrected this to 114-112 in the other thread you made and removed the 9-9 scoring. Anyway, apart from that it looks a fair card to me. Those 10-8s for Ray are the key.
