i think even vargas is a dangerous fight for khan he's shown he can punch a bit lately! maybe a lighter puncher would be a good pick to build confidence

Khan doesn't want any of Brook, he just wants a payday.
As for his popularity, I'd wager most people in Britain would tune in hoping to see him sparked. Anecdotal I know, but most of the people I know who like boxing think Khan is a *****.

Khan said a month ago he wants Kell at the end of 2017 beginning of 2018

Khan had surgery and wants a tune up, ffs Vargas is a tough tune up, Khan should be applauded.

Brook ducked Vargas last year ffs, how many guys has Brook beaten are better than Vargas?

Vargae is high risk low reward really

Yo guys need to stop with the double standard, when is gay boy going to fight Spence?

Vargas would actually be a smart choice for Khan..

Lets face it he was always going to fight a mediocre opponent due to his "comeback from Canelo KO and hand surgery. Although I would say Vargas is just above mediocre.

Also it allows for Khan to get his foot in the door with Bob Arum which may allow for a Pacquiao or Bradley fight at the end of the year - face it Khan isn't fighting Brook intill he has NO OPTIONS left.

Don't allow that overhand right to land though Amir.

If you honestly believe khan will fight brook end of 2017 you are delusional. He will tell the media he wants the fight and then it will be the same story. Khan asking for 70/30 split or making another excuse not to fight.

This has been happening for 4 years now. He doesn't want to fight kell

Also your comment about brook ducking Vargas is laughable.

They made an offer to Vargas and he signed and then they backed out, that's a duck.

They only took the GGG fight for the money and they knew they had nothing to lose, he got bashed from pillar to post and you knobs still call him a hero.

Fight Spence or stfu, Brook will be easy pickings for Khan after Spence destroys him.

Why wouldn't Khan try to get the best price he can now, he has plenty of time to negotiate, fight won't happen for nearly a year at the least

70/30 is totally unrealistic though. Everybody can see that khan is pricing himself out. You are acting like khan is being reasonable in negotiations. The guy won't fight for 60/40 in his favour..

Kell was fighting for little money against Vargas as Vargas wanted in the excess of £2m..

Who can blame Kell for taking the GGG fight. Boxing is a short career.

Calling it a duck is pure stupidity. Amir khan fans live in a complete different world to everybody else.

Still think amir khan is boxing super star lol

Do you think you are being a bit dramatic
Hearn offered Khan 60-40? Why would he just accept it now? He wants Spence to beat down Brook and soften him up

Khan knows 60-40 is on the table, hed sign today for 70-30 which isn't a bad counter offer, but 60-40 isn't going any where.

What's an extra 10%, not like he said 95-5 or 80-20, the truly delusional offers made to CEJ by Degale and BJS

The more Amir talks the less he sounds like he wants this fight. After all the smack he's been talking a KO defeat would be too much for him to bear.

I knew he didn't want it when he started saying only wembley was big enough to hold this fight despite claiming that Brook was a relative unknown not in his league.

Aint nobody on the planet gonna soften Brook up more than GGG did.

And Spence, good as he's looked, aint quite as confident as you are.

He's gone on record saying he would be happy to wait til Brook moved N......that's showing RESPECT for Brook.

Both Spence and Brook are very good fighters IMO and would easily KO Khan. If the fight between them does happen (I think it will once Brook realizes than Khan won't take the fight), hopefully the winner fights the Garcia-Thurman winner.

Khan has never been a champion at 147 yet talks as if he's the man at the weight.

Spence said he wants his belt, he doesn't care who has it he's taking that IBF strap, he's waited long enough. He didn't say he wants to wait for Brook to move up at all.

GGG only did half the job and they pulled him out, they planned that before the fight started, Brook was never going to be risked in that fight it was just about money.

Against Spence he will have something to lose, his belt and reputation. They will give Brook a chance to win even when he is getting thrashed, prolonging the beating.
