Booth confirmed that Groves won't fight on 14th Sept. as he will not be able to spar for at least 4 weeks to let the cut heal so to take another fight in 6 weeks is in impossible.

Looked a pretty bad cut as well, seemed to be quite deep.

The board have being pathetic about the whole affair. He has no intention of fighting Anderson he wants Stieglitz and they are just trying to hold up the British title as a safety measure

Who gives a ****? Anderson was demolished by Groves! An off balance knockdown and people were wanking over Anderson. Groves isn't scared of Anderson, he just has bigger fish to fry.

Groves needs to replace that with a red war cap unless he's actually got a mekon head hiding under it.

Im an Anderson fan, but I agree that Groves doesn't need him. I'd like to see George against the Stieglitz v Abraham winner, I think he's ready for that fight.

Lets be honest though Jeff, since the first Groves fight Kenny has fought no one of any real quality. I know he's now mando for the British title, which is fair enough, however he should have been chasing other decent fights rather than steamrolling average guys whilst waiting on the Groves rematch, because to me that looks as though he does need Groves.

Why is Groves so hell bent on holding onto to the British title??

Just vacate so everyone can get on with their careers

The sky is the limit now for Groves, De La Hoya was tweeting about him last night and he was well received after that KO in the US by all accounts.

No, Anderson is holding up Andersons career, by waiting around, refusing to fight anyone of any note.

    Anderson screwed Anderson

This is true,Anderson needs to forget about Groves and move up to the next level. The Groves fight dont look like its going to happen for whatever reason so he should take a different route.

Should relinquish the commonwealth and let anderson fight for that on the 14th, maybe against Smith and Groves fight the winner of that for the British.
