Looks like Andy Ruiz’s 15 minutes of fame is over

    No one can deny Ruiz is an experienced fighter, but overall he is nowhere near becoming some undisputed p4p champ. He has a good chin and a couple of quick combos, but that's about it. He showed no ability to adapt long term, couldn't cut off the ring, couldn't jab his way in and no body shots. Where were his supposed counter-punching abilities???

    I still can't believe people on here were saying he'd even do better with more weight. His explosiveness was what shocked AJ in the first fight, so his plan was to become even heavier and slower?

    That all being said, Ruiz may still provide some entertaining fights against some of these other heavyweights.

    Maybe, but Ruiz did nothing out there.

    He looked slower than an asthmatic slug!

    He joins the list of other heavies that have that 1 big upset in their game & win the title. what they do not do is to make a bunch of successful title defenses===that takes a different skillset and discipline.

    But on that one night, they can shine. And Ruiz did shine for 1 night.
