I'd say the style matchup suits Berto quite well. Berto is probably just as skilled, but seems to panic a bit around fighters who apply relentless pressure for the full duration of the fight; Cotto is not like that and tends to gas out towards the end. If it comes through should be a good even match, with a slight edge to Cotto.

completely disagree, Berto's overall skill level can't compare to Cotto's at this point...he lacks footwork, lacks a solid jab, can't fight off the back foot, no real latteral movement, squares up which makes him an easy target and he's lays in on the inside without so much as giving angles or punching

Cotto would tear him apart, and if the fight goes through without Berto getting him a new trainer who can teach him what to do and what not do, then that will indeed happen

Cotto wears him down and forces a stoppage by the 10th. Berto isnt on the same level as Cotto

Berto by nasty KO!! Cotto still has supspect defense, he was getting hit with the slowest ****ing punches ever from Margarito. if those slow uppercuts can land then Bertos will drop Cotto.

First of all who the hell is jenning? sound's like a bum to me i bet they dont even know that guy in their own house

Cotto will kill him in 3 and when he is done with him Berto will be next.

I dont think this will be a mismatch. Berto has a chance to win this one but if Cotto isnt shot or broken down from the loss to Tony then I'll go with Cotto TKO 10 of 12. Dont be surprised though if Berto catches Cotto with something big and gets the KO himself. I know its unlikely but not imposible.

actually its not unlikely. Cotto has been hurt in almost every fight hes been in since hes been champ at 140. it would be nothing new to see Cotto hurt again, just of Berto can finish him off.
