Looks like Briggs is the only one with Balls

It's funny you posted this b/c I just watched the Wlad vs Peter match. Wlad won but barely. Wlad's much more of a complete fighter now so I think he'll prob knock Peter out this time around b/c Wlad is better at avoiding punches and finally solved his stamina problem.

 

Vlad by knockout. Briggs needs to fight someone who is still alive,not someone from the grave yard.

Tony Thompson desperately wants a rematch, and he deserves it more than Briggs deserves a title shot.

 

Briggs does not have the stamina to make the ring walk. He will need help to get into the ring.

Though he was losing, Thompson was doing relatively well against Wladimir to me. It looked like he quit when the stoppage occurred. If Tony had more handspeed and some serious pop, that would have been a much more interesting fight.

 

Briggs is jumping all over this cause he's desperate to get a shot at a title (i.e., a pay day) without actually going through all the fuss of earning one. Wlad has given him this oppurtunity only because he considers Briggs to be a safe name opponent. At this point, I don't know what fool would consider Shannon Briggs (OR Peter for that matter) to be a legitimate title challanger. The alphabet rankings are so out of whack its sad. Why don't they ask a legitimate contender like Tomasz Adamek on whether he wants to fight? I guarantee you he'd have the balls too and would not just look for a pay day.

Who has Briggs fought since coming back to deserve a shot? WHO?

Isn't he just looking for a huge payday?

 

Since when does someone have to have beaten a certain fighter to get a title shot? Vitali comes out of retirement and gets one? Briggs is more dangerous than people think and if and it always is an if he comes in shape he will take down Vitali.
