I've booked to go to Vegas that week anyway so have been keeping an eye on hotel prices since the fight was announced. First couple of days after the fight was announced, there wasn't much difference between the price earlier in the week and on the weekend of the fight (about $200). Now, a one night stay (on the Saturday) at the MGM costs just under $500. Similar hike in price at other MGM owned hotels along the strip. Have MGM been told they've been given the green light and are now pricing their rooms to reflect that?
This was always guna happen in Vegas again. I know MSG wanted it and the Mexicans thought a big Mexican venue would be fantastic (which it would). But Oscar said NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Yeah, it would have been legendary to hold this fight in Mexico City. The reality is corruption and the cartels Oscar would have to pay, plus they are in a $80 million dollar debt with Canelo former promoter. This is going to be a trilogy because they need it to be, just watch and see.
Of course it will be Vegas CORRUPTION CITY!!! Oscar insists on it. EVERYONE KNOWS it'll be another scam job robbery i'll not be buying it anyone that does deserve what they get
Right back to the scene of the crime so all the same pig criminals can line up and grow fat at the troth. Head swine Bob Bennett has no doubt already found a ref and judges that will make the last group seem neurtal.
I wonder if they could reschedule any home playoff games the Golden Knights would have to take place outside the weekend. Come to think of it, that could be the biggest hurdle of having it at T-Mobile. The Golden Knights are having the best season an expansion team has had in any sport, how is that even possible lol. If there that much parity in the NHL? they're dominating their division in 1st place by a wide margin lol. So with a 1st place team, home playoff hockey games at the T-Mobile are very probable during that time. But they won't know for sure until deep into April right which would depend on if LV Hockey wins the first round series. Do you think the Golden Knights success could prevent Canelo Golovkin from being at T-Mobile? They could always have it at the MGM Grand right but that's about 3,000 less tickets for boxing than the T-Mobile.
IMO Golden Knights success is the only thing that prevented GB to announce a venue. Oscar really wants that casino dough so it will be interesting to see what solution he comes up with. Could they schedule it at the old arena and then switch up if Vegas gets eliminated in the 1st rd ? I dont think the fans would have a problem with that
What's the story with Canelo's former Mexican promoter? That explains a lot of things actually. Does he have more incriminating photos of Oscar or something?
