GGG probs now realises he isn't going to beat Canelo no matter what the actual result is....

He can make good coin fighting soft touches in fair fights until he retires..

 

Golovkin probably doesn't want to get sent on another 9 month vacation to let his body heal again.

Those body and head punches have made larger men fold.

Sure. I guess they could just not get paid. I sincerely doubt that DAZN signed Canelo and GGG to have them fight Fielding and Rolls level guys. They'd be pretty dumb to have signed a megabucks contract like that without at least some say over the matchups.

 

Don't forget they were desperate at that point. So, it's almost like "Beggars can't be choosers".

 

GGG has 5, Canelo has 9 more fights left at DAZN at least, so it’s not a tragedy if it’s not happening this year.
If they fight in May, it’s still going to be a close fight and the fans are going to demand a 4th one.

 

Canelo would still fight a 40 year old GGG ... even better, in fact!

 

Probably that they made a mistake giving GGG a contract if he's going to be fighting Roles type fighters and acting like a diva. I wouldn't be surprised if they just pay him out and give him the boot.

 

He wants the trilogy fight but in MSG, you can’t blame him for that.
Anyway, if he doesn’t fight Canelo then he has to fight Andrade or Smith and those are good fights.

Blame him? Why MSG? Sure it can be there, but Vegas is fight capital of the world, and GGG doesn't get to call all the shots. GGG has been a complete diva with Canelo.
