Looks like Chisora vs Fury Rematch could happen in 2014 - Who wins?

Also Frank mentioned on the Scene about wanting to do the rematch so it might happen on February 15th at the Copper Box Arena to launch Boxnation in HD.

Back in April when Fury had just beat Steve Cunningham to set himself up with a final eliminator against Pulev and Chisora was fighting some journeyman, there was NO CHANCE Tyson would be interested as he had absolutely nothing to gain by fight Derek again.

Move forward to December and Fury hasn't fought since the Cunningham victory, lost his chance at a Mandatory fight with Pulev and had the postponement and cancellation of his fight with Haye. Not many other options for him either as Wladimir Klitschko is tied up with mandatories against Leapai and Pulev and the vacant WBC belt is going to be contested between Stiverne and Arrreola.

Chisora is now ranked above Fury with the 4 World boxing bodies. Derek is WBC number 6, WBA number 14, IBF number 7 and WBO number 2 wheras Fury is only ranked by two of them; WBC number 8 and WBO number 6 so Tyson has more to gain from taking the fight then Chisora does now.

    Who wins the Chisora-Fury rematch?

Despite what some people say, their first fight wasn't quite the shutout for Fury that people remember it and Chisora weighed a whopping 261lbs which made him slow and sluggish. The new slimline Chisora is a completely different fighter, faster, stronger, better stamina and movement plus Derek seems alot more focused and relaxed now.

My verdict: Chisora wins via TKO by the 10th round.

What are your thoughts and opinions on who wins the rematch?

Fury by KO. Chisora has been rocked by gerber and Pala recently and despite his winning record lately I don't see any technique or defense improvements.

fury has improved since he schooled chisora the first time, fitter meaner stronger quite like chisora's improvement, but fury hits harder, better technique and id say more speed. chisora is not bad fighter but his punches arent huge and hes gets hit alot getting inside. should be good fight this one. FURY UNINAMOUS DECISION.

I would go for Fury again on points maybe a stoppage, but if Chisora won then we defo get a trilogy.

I think people need to stop taking every Fury tweet so literally...

every throwaway comment he makes becomes a main article or thread on here. Bit daft innit.

    (especially as he's a wind-up merchant)

I don't think he exactly schooled Chisora in their first fight, was more down to Chisora coming into the fight in terrible shape and not seeming that interested or focused during the fight.

I agree that Fury has improved since then especially physically but he still makes the same fundamental errors and has had some life and death struggles with journeymen or fringe contenders like Firtha, Pajkic and Cunningham.

When Chisora is 100% mentally and physically prepared we know he can compete with the very best in the world, we still haven't seen the same from Tyson Fury yet and Chisora in the rematch will be a totally different fighter then the one in their first.

I never said it was happening, just that there's a real possibility it could happen now unlike earlier this year when there was no chance.

Fury doesn't exactly have many other options open to him either and as i pointed out Chisora is actually ranked above him by all the World governing bodies.

With Haye now retired and David Price being out the picture for at least a year, Chisora vs Fury is the only real money fight out there for Tyson.

Wilder vs Fury is a possibility but doubt either side wants to make the fight and that's about it on the World scene as guys like Wladimir, Pulev, Arreola, Adamek and Stiverne are all tied up with fights.

Apart from a Klitschko fight Chisora-Fury is the biggest fight out there for both of them.

Chisora on pts. He is leaner and will grind out the rounds he couldn't in the first fight when he was well overweight.

Let's not forget Tyson has shifted a lot of weight since then also.
