Look's like Cotto vs Mayweather will finally happen with the winner fighting Mosley.

There is a rematch clause in the contract - but if it is a brutal lopsided KO, Pac may opt out of it.

wont happen, these days Floyd doesn't believe in fighting people who have atleast a 40% chance of beating him...

This would be a great scenario, but I am not yet conviced Cotto will win. A lot of people are clamoring for Pac/Floyd but I think it's a mismatch with the size Mayweather has gained without losing anything as far as speed and such.

Paquiao is no WW so I'm sure it's possible Cotto may remind us of that.

I think Shane will KO Berto if they fight. If he does brutally stop Berto, and Floyd were to beat Cotto, do you think Floyd would still fight Shane?

IMAO but it might be better for Shane if he just decisions Berto. Knocking Margarito out didn't increase anyone's eagerness to fight him.

If Floyd still refuses in your scenario, Shane should just go for Williams I suppose, but it might have to be @ 154 by then, depending on what weight Williams can fight at, at that point. I'd prefer to see Shane not ever go above 147 again if he can avoid it and get big fights at WW.

If Pac loses, who do you want to see him fight? :thinkHe should fight @ 140 I think of course. Bradley would be a good fight if he stays undefeated.

I think you're right, but as I was saying in my other post, this may hurt him even more in getting a fight with Floyd. Hey, Shane will do his thing regardless though.

Yeah I honestly think that a Cotto win is the best thing for boxing not a pac win. A pac win would allow for the biggest fight ot be made. There's no doubt about that. But A cotto win interms of everyone being able to deal with their legacies is best. Pac and Marquez get to finish their trilogy and settle things once and for all. We'll finally see Mayweather in with a true 147 lb champion. And a guy who for my money has a much better style to trouble floyd then Manny does. Plus after Manny leaves the 147 lb division and mayweather beats cotto there will b on more reason not to fight shane (whom by then i'd imagine will have whipped on Clotty and beto and whomever else they put infront of him.

Mayweather will never get in the ring with Cotto. Especially after Cotto is done raping Pacquiao. We will see Mayweather/Mosley next.

If Cotto doesn't score the KO, he's in for a beating. I don't think he matches up well with Pac.

Floyd would probaby rather deal with Cotto than Shane. Shane destroying Margarito probably makes more of an impression than Cotto beating up a lightweight.

Cotto has subpar defense. If slow Clottey and Margarito connected with regularity, Pac is going to be a nightmare for him. Cotto will try to bully Pac into the corners but it won't be enough. I can see Cotto getting knocked out cold fairly early on.

You guys are so sure that Cotto will KO pac?

I presume you've all put lots of £ or $ on this? If it happens you guys are in for a big pay day!

I have no doubt that Pac will KO Cotto. Cotto had a tough night against Clottey who isn't of the elite calibre and that fight left little doubt in my mind that he will get KO'd by Pac. V excited about Pac Mayweather now although I think PBF will knock him out in the mid rounds.

    Enjoy.
