Looks like Cotto's trainer had some harsh words for Roach.

maybe Roach is trying to do what he can to break the confidence/concentration in the Cotto camp. Everything has gone well, it seems Roach has realize it's not going to be easy as he thought. Maybe he is panicking at this moment, it shows in his face the way he looks at Cotto. You could clearly see Cotto staring at Roach at one point after the small incident.

I've not seen Roach look that agitated before. He was pissed, I thought Cotto had pushed Pac or something.

Roach is rapidly going down in my estimation.

Throughout he whole build up Roach has been acting like a child and from the outside, it appears that the camp has been run like a zoo.

On the other hand, the whole Cotto camp have conducted themselves perfectly, and everything is a picture of harmony. Santiago has had a load of **** thrown at him by Roach, so the opportunity to tell Roach to **** of is a rightly deserved one and i'm delighted that he took that opportunity.

I think the criticism Roach recieves here is wee bit overboard at times. What **** has Santiago had thrown at him? As far as I recall, Roach simply raised the issue of Cotto's corner experience. Which is a very valid point, and something which nearly everyone on this board will agree with.

Unless I've missed something? Has Roach said anything else?

I thought it was funny how long Roach went on about this. I figured things would be over after a couple of seconds but he went on for like two minutes. Even Arum had to tell him to shut the **** up if you look closely.

Would like to know what he Cotto said to him.

Well through the press Roach has been slagging of Santiago, so face to face Santiago tell it how it is.

Cotto briefly took to the scales, where he weighed 145 pounds even.

Cotto's trainer, Joe Santiago, then turned to Pacquiao's trainer, Freddie Roach, pointed at the scale, and appeared to taunt him about the champion's weight.

According to Top Rank vice president, Todd duBoef, Santiago then told Roach, "One-hundred-and-forty-five-pounds [a******]" as he emphatically continued to gesture at his own fighter and the scale.

Roach, apparently incensed, turned and pursued Santos across the stage.

Santiago's comments were apparent backlash from Roach's having chastised Santiago throughout the promotion for what he perceived as his limited abilities to prepare Cotto.

Further words were exchanged between the two trainers before Top Rank's Carl Moretti stepped in and separated them.
