Unified heavyweight champ Wladimir Klitschko and titleholder David Haye continue to negotiate a fall fight but with a deadline looming. The IBF has given them until Monday to let it know if they can make a deal or it will order Klitschko to make his overdue mandatory defense against Alexander Povetkin. "The ball is on Haye's side," Klitschko's adviser, Bernd Boente, told ESPN.com. "We are willing to make it happen. The IBF gave us until [Monday] to find an agreement. But [Haye manager/trainer Adam] Booth said he has to talk to Haye to see whether he is willing. Strange because I always heard and read of Haye calling out Wladimir. My feeling is that Haye is afraid and I wouldn't be surprised if he fights Audley Harrison. Let's hope that I'm wrong." There has been talk of Haye defending against underachieving Harrison, the 2000 British Olympic gold medalist who claimed the European title in April.

Booth has to talk to Haye to see if he is willing :huh Man what a pathetic joke this is friday and monday is the deadline:roll: ... I dont understand how his fans defend him... Remember a year ago and they were all screaming that Haye was going to destroy them and would do anything for the fight... Now it looks like he will have ducked three fights with them in less then a year :patsch yeah he really wanted to prove himself against the best the man lies and lies...
I hope haye finds his balls and makes the fight but judging from relentless Avi. it looks doubtful that he had any to begin with :deal

sauerland still has options on haye

a fight against a klitschko will be his biggest payday, he's not going to give to away to some german promoter

haye vitali probably won't happen as vitali has expressed interest to retire at the end of the year, expect a valuev re-match and somebody else before he fights wlad

So in other words you dont care that he spent the last two years calling him out only to duck fighting him:huh it was Hayes choice to give Saurland options on him as well as him having a rematch with Valuev and a fight with Ruiz.. Haye is a coward if the offer is fair and haye refused it. which how quiet he has been since fighting Ruiz and hiding under a rock whenever the fight has been brought up,
It reminds me of a kid who talks **** saying sure i can beat up the school bully, then the bully hears about it and says ok after school, Then kid is like Ok.. just to run out the back door and and run home and hide under his bed. and hopes the whole thing just goes away.

The Klits would revel at the chance of actually getting in the ring with Haye rather than responding to his threats and taunts in the media. Unfortunately it seems as if Haye likes talking on the TV more than he likes fighting in the ring.

I do not blame Haye if he walks away if the money is not right. He is the A side and should get the 55-45 at the least! Kbros is a big draw in Germany but no one else cares about his fights.

Oh and I think all heavies are shite (no Haye nuthugger) so no one should paid . . . LOL

    I don't, either.

Haye is all talk. I don't expect this fight to happen, if it does it would be a pleasant surprise.

Exactly! Haye starts to remind me more of a media-***** than a fighter! He liturally talked his way to fight the Klits, but when he got the chance to back up his words he bitched out! Seen in light of those childish insults he used, makes him look even more patetic now.. I cant take this guys intentions serious again before he stands in ring face to face with Wlad

I sided with Haye for awhile but it's become absurd. Valuev, apparently, is not even pushing for his rematch. He wants the mandatory and VKlit if he wins. So Haye is likely pondering the Harrison fight. Yawn.

The Hayewanker apologists who continue to support this fraud are beyond embarrassing. Their girl is terrified of Wlad. Plain and simple.
