Looks like Dan Rafael the fight probably isn't happening. Haye-Klit

  1. My head hurts trying to get that to make sense...grammatically.

Haye is an embarrassment. He's clearly ducking the Klitschko brothers. IT wouldn't be SUCH a big deal, but the way he called them out prior to this is ****ing shameful. David Haye is a coward. It's rare to see that in boxing, but he is genuinely a coward. I really hate to say that, but this takes ducking to another level.

man, **** david haye. when he made the move up to HW and was calling out the klits i was one of his supporters. i liked the new energy he brought to the division. I can even understand not taking the offer given to him for the original fights, especially after that british station went under. But there is no excuse not to take on the fight now that he is a fellow beltholder. if he doesnt take it, he's a chicken **** who bit off more than he can chew and forever will be remembered more for his bark than his bite.

Damn! I really wanted to see that fight. I read an article yesterday with Povetkin's interview and he said that they heard that Wlad-haye negotiations are falling through and they are preparing their lawyers and team to start negotiations on Monday. I thought it was just something to say like "I'm ready, I will win " crap. And now this....

fair enough point, but boxing is now a business, sadly. if finance doesn't agree with him, like the negotiations with vitali, he will refuse, to get the fight with valuev, he had to give in to the less of 2 evils, and take the fight with better terms on his own selfish needs

business is business... a year ago Haye's only option to big money were the Ks. Now he's a belt holder, a big big star in the UK and can make the K money fighting a couple of easy fights in the UK. Why would he risk that fighting the Ks?! I'm sure he'd like to fight them.. but there is a difference fighting them now or in a year after he got 10-20 mill from fighting tomato cans like Harrison. The Ks fights are dangerous and he knows it... just bad business at the moment.

Of course, it goes without saying it is embarrassing given he called them out but honestly, did you think the fighters are only in boxing for pride? Come on...

Hayes earned $13.2m for his last 2 fights. Not bad for a slave contract eh?

Wlad openly chides Haye for "bitching out" on an international You-tube video and this is the cowardly Haye's response. He challenges both K-bros when he turned heavyweight and bragged about cleaning up the division and turns yellow time and time again when either Klitschko accepts his challenge. All proper, Winston Churchill loving Brits, who single-handedly faced the mighty German war machine in WW2 and turned backed the Axis powers with the eventual help of the reluctant Yanks, must now hang their collective heads in shame at their heavyweight representatives display of malignant, disgraceful cowardice. Malicious music to any true Brit.

Haye bragged that he would be the first guy to KO both Klitchskos.

A year later he has become the first guy to back out of scheduled fights with both Klitchskos

i normally don't think elite fighters are scared of their chances at the top level. but maybe after being stunned by ruiz and decked by barrett, haye's inner confidence has taken a hit. afterall i don't think haye is the dumb type. he knows if that is how he reacted to slow soft punches, how would his chin react to wladimir's fast ATG power shots?

and this sport is all about confidence! i wonder if he is more realistic now about his chances and therefore wants to milk as many fights before taking on his hardest test.

i think he will get ko'ed, and i also think he wants to wait long enough until wladimir is around 35+, so he hopes maybe wlad's reflexes will have slowed enough for him to have a chance.

i think if that's haye's tactic then wladimir should just retire in 18 months and not give haye the single biggest payday in his career!
