Looks like Fury-Joshua will just be one fight (not two) - Fury-Wilder III first?

If we roll back to the schedule that was in place last year at this time - Wilder-Fury III and Joshua-Usyk first ...

This whole Joshua-Fury fight in Saudi Arabia is going to resemble a TV show where a whole season takes place and, at the end of the year, someone wakes up and says, "I had such a weird dream." (LOL)

Eddie Hearn: "Unbelievable developments. Over the space of five or six hours, the fight was in jeopardy and the fight was dead in the water without having one conversation with anybody. Bob has completely lost the plot, basically."

What changed is Bob didn't talk to Eddie. While this drug out on Eddie's end, Bob talked to the arbitrator.

Hearn: "Billy Joe Saunders was slagging me off. But I had a talk with him this morning. It's been a cleansing day." (LOL)

If we don't get the fight for undisputed, that everyone bar a handful of Wilder fans want, it won't be a duck, but the fault will lie with Fury and his team. Joshua has nothing or nobody holding him back, Fury has Wilder issues, legal issues and a promoter not prepared to keep losing money on him. Joshua likely makes more fighting an Usyk/Whyte than Fury and Wilder combined would for a 3rd fight with little to no interest from boxing fans! Saudi paid a reported 72 million for the Ruiz rematch and Joshua is the one who brings in the ppv loot!

I agree with most of what you said except Fury-Wilder III is one of the largest fights that can be made in boxing ... and will likely be even bigger than the last given all that has transpired since the last fight.

People can drop the snide "no interest" garbage.

You can make an argument Fury-Wilder III is even bigger in the US right now than Fury-Joshua, given how everyone has strong opinions on it and really little interest at all in Joshua.

And since the US is where most of the money comes from when the money comes from ACTUAL FANS ... not from one Saudi dude who will pay Anthony Joshua whatever he wants to visit him once a year like some oil dudes pay Rihanna $100 million to come sing at their birthday party ... that still matters. (LOL)

Great money if you can get it, but one Saudi guy overpaying for anything has no relation to actual FAN interest.

Fury-Wilder II, by any measure, brought in as much or more than Joshua-Ruiz II. And that money came from fans, not a site free from an oil man.
