GGG has never even fought at the Staples Center. Canelo hasn't fought at the Staples Center in over a decade, but as a young kid got a big crowd at the Staples Center vs Baldomir. I don't know if the Baldomir fight was a sell out, but it was a big crowd. Canelo would easily sell out the Staples Center at this point in his career, GGG would probably too especially if he had a big name opponent.

Why are you implying that GGG has sold out Staples Center? GGG has never even fought at the Staples Center. :qmeparto:

As you know, it was part of a gentleman's bet. Part of that bet was that I would make a GGG appreciation topic if Brook won.

    https://www.yourdictionary.com/gentleman-s-bet

A bet in which no money is bet; only the honor of the two parties is at stake. There is no need for proof that one party's side of the bet has been fulfilled; he or she is taken at their word.

As a gentleman's bet, there is no need for proof that one party's side of the bet has been fulfilled. You are asking me to fulfill my part of a gentleman's bet, that's not what happens in a gentleman's bet. In a gentleman's bet, I am to be taken at my word that I will create a GGG appreciation topic.

There is not much to appreciate about GGG at this present time since he hasn't fought in ages. I could make the topic at any time, but there will be more to work with after he fights Murata, and even more to work with if Canelo defeats Bivol and they agree to a 3rd match, so it makes more sense to wait until then which should produce a better and more interesting topic.

Yet more irrelevant crap...as you so very often fail to stick to the thread topic I suspect either hypercortisolism or a mental disorder...

It was very relevant. Lance said Canelo never sold out the Staples Center and implied that GGG had sold out the Staples Center. The fact is that GGG has never even fought there while Canelo fought there twice as a young kid.

Haha I can tell you're getting antsy waiting for it. I could do it, it's just I don't have much to work with right now. His fight with Murata is less than 3 weeks away. If I make the topic before that, it could jinx it and we could lose a 3rd match with Canelo.

Think about this, what if I make the topic now, praise GGG to high heavens but then he gets upset by Murata? Then I'd have jumped the gun, appreciating him too early and we could lose the 3rd fight with Canelo.

If he beats Murata, then he'd have lived up to his end of the bargain, and it would have earned him another shot at Canelo, and I'd have a lot more reasons to appreciate him if that happens. If he loses to Murata, then he'll probably retire. The problem with making the topic now is that we're on the precipice of a big match that could determine his legacy and how much he will be appreciated.
