Yes but they wouldn't of got their winnings. $200,000 and whatever the guys who put 1000 x $100 tickets on at the TAB's got and their would have been a police investigation and they might of got arrested and charged.

mate there should have been a police investigation already derp. Don't take a rocket scientist to work out what happen, nor does it take one to know Billy Hussein's involvement in this sham. These guys tried to earn money from a fight fix and if it turned out that it didn't work, they should be happy they got their money back, not looking for blood towards someone who spoke the truth. Lets face it, Green wasn't covering up for these guys, he was covering up for himself.

1. They didnt give Briggs enough time to prepare, 6 weeks.
2. They knew Briggs had not had a fight in 3 years.
3. They knew Briggs retired due to neurological problems as reported by his trainer on ESB.
4. They knew Briggs was underdone by sparring footage leaked on the net by Zelky, there is even reports of concern by Greens camp about the footage and what they could do to have it removed from the internet ffs. (search google for "Danny Green forced to fend off fresh claims from Paul Briggs")
5. They knew NSW wouldn't sanction the bout over concerns but that didn't stop green from crying and asking for a investigation from the state premier, nor did it stop him from having it rubber stamped in WA. Did you watch video footage of green having a hissy fit when NSW wouldn't sanction the fight?

I could go on and on mate but if your blaming thugs who put on bets that would have been returned anyhow, as the sole reason Green lied then you got rocks in ya head.
