It would almost certainly be a real boost for boxing in this country if Hatton makes a comeback, and I agree with other posters that if was to be on Boxnation it would give them a very good stable, significantly better than what Sky now have.

I have always thought that Boxnation would be best served if they could come to some sort of agreement with ITV; Boxnation already shows alot of its material on freeview to encourage subscribers, imagine the audience if some of it was also made available on ITV, I just don't see what Boxnation would have to lose and surely ITV wouldn't turn down some free boxing?!

I also like the idea of ITV and Boxnation sharing the cards occasionally; perhaps all the build-up and the undercard on Boxnation, then the main event on Boxnation but also on ITV. Throughout the ITV show there could be constant promotion of Boxnation, so that viewers will hopefully want more than just the main event!

It also wouldn't do any harm perhaps having Buncey's show on ITV, it doesn't have to be live, it could be shown late night, it would still almost certainly get higher viewing figures than on Boxnation.

Overall it is best for the fans to have Hattons stable of boxers, with or without him, on tv regularly, and to me if it is Boxnation that will show the whole cards I'll go for that!

I think Ricky would rather try and get on Itv or Channel 5 more of a chance to get his younger fighters into the households of millions of fans compared to Sky or Boxnation. **** me how many people know Tyson Fury as a boxer since he has been on Channel 5. Imagine if the Hatton fighters were on Itv or Channel 5 it would be a huge deal for them. Build up a following and it can only benefit them in the long term.

That freddy flintoff fight is going to be a hgue flop, I can imagine it will be celebrity packed though. I hope hatton comes back, everyone loved hatton when he was around. Seems like a lot have lost that but he'd still do big big numbers.

ITV will likely be involved with Boxnation in arrangement to when Screensport used to screen whole cards and ITV just the main event.

I can see Hatton looking ****ing awful and losing to someone he should never have any business losing to.

Maligaggi would be a travesty loss, and Hatton even in his prime looked bad at welter

jesus think about the guys diet, career, style. it doesnt lend itself to making a comeback at his age and wear.

He probably will look terrible but he hasnt got much to lose, really. Everyone will know he looked **** because he was retired for years after a bad KO, same goes for greats like Leonard. No one remembers his last fights, really.

The Boxnation Facebook page has confirmed that Andrew Flintoff is fighting on the channel (at heavyweight) in November.

So surely the question now is how certain are we that Flintoff is with Hatton Promotions?

If it can be confirmed that he is, doesn't that indicate that Hatton must have signed some sort of promotional deal with Boxnation?!

The Facebook page also says that Sky One will be showing a show nearer the time that looks at Flintoff's training and preperation.:D

I'm excited about Flintoff fighting. It is unknown how he will perform, but it will generate massive interest. This is good news for boxnation, boosting subscription numbers, which hopefully will mean more money around to splash on better cards and have them more frequently.
I just can't make my mind up whther Hatton is coming back though. Seen a lot of him on twitter, and some photos with him looking better than he has in years. Is it just to live a more healthy lifesyle? Maybe. But he has been making a fuss of it on twitter, so surely if him losing the weight was purely a lifestyle choice he would not be arsed about people knowing, right? Plus it's a good gauge of interest (retweets, replies etc)
He would without a shadow of a doubt fill out the etihad if he came back. it's 50/50 in my eyes to be honest.

read this lads, what an absolute bell-end, maybe this Jobby will have more respect for the sport when he sees his 'legend' and 'hero to millions' take a few right hands.

The following quote of reeking garbage particularly got on my tits.

'I still have in my kitchen – and still draw inspiration from – the celebrated photograph of Flintoff stooping to commiserate with the Australian fast bowler Brett Lee after the 2005 Edgbaston Test. Am I likely to replace it with a photo of him trying to give another gorilla in boxing trunks a bloody nose? Hardly.'

What a little snivelling arse clown.

what an utter wanker. Does he realise what he is saying with the mention of the word "gorrilla"?

Another elitist, who looks down his nose at the noble art, without a thought for the sacrifices and training and ups and downs. Let's hope this **** gets absolutely bombed for this piece of **** article

It just reeks of ignorance and lacks intelligence. Makes me wonder how they have the job they do.
