I think Haye has three fights in him at maximum- an eliminator, a WBA Regular title fight and then Joshua. If he fulfills that schedule then money shouldn't be an issue.

I doubt he fights on past 38. In his favour he hasn't been involved in any wars but he needs to get a shift on to avoid obscurity.
