I'm not big on Glazkov, but this is by far the best voluntary Wilder's had and an acceptable defense.

I'd be a little surprised if it came off, honestly.

Bronco Billy for the KO. No later than 2. That's if they give him a camp longer than 1 week

I've generally been critical of Wilder's opponents aside from Stiverne.
Glazkov is a solid opponent IMO.

Featherfisted Glazkov still has a chance to blast him outta there. Keep in mind the featherfisted LHW that destroyed him with pillows on their hands and heads

It's ironic, Wilder's first two defenses were against limited fighters with guts, and in Glazkov, he's got the exact opposite. It's not that Glazkov is a coward, he just goes through the motions and isn't really a "fighter". He can box when he feels like it. It's an interesting shift.

All in all, it's not Povetkin, but I have no problem with this fight as long as AP's next. This isn't a bad defense.

    Good breakdown. :good

I think alot of Glazkov's issues come from his mentality. It's good to be the nice guy, but in the ring, he takes it too far to his detriment. He really doesn't come off as having a fighter's mentality. Skills, he's got. It'll be interesting to see if Wilder can bring out the dog in Glazkov, or if he'll call it quits when the match gets tough because it's just a paycheck to him.

Maybe I'm completely off base on Glazkov's attitude, that's just how it comes off to me.

This is how featherfisted Glazkov is, he went 10 rounds with Garrett Wilson, didn't come close to dropping him, yet another better Vyacheslav, Vyacheslav Shabranskyy brutalized Wilson dropped him twice and stopped him in 9. And Shanbrankyy is only a Light Heavyweight.

But Wildman avoids LHW like the plague since he was sparked by one already

I agree with you on Glazkov. He has skills and a nice amateur background but just seems to lack the mentality to take it up a notch or two.
