I really hope it's not Guerrero. Cotto, Alvarez at 150 would be much better.

To be honest I would say Arum is the main block to the Pacquiao fight happening. Mayweather wants it (maybe he didn't always want it but he does now), Pacquiao wants the fight, Arum wants Cotto again or Peterson.

Canelo ain't All that. Poor stamina and still learning. Guerrero is the better fight IMO despite Alvarez being a natural super middle.

**** fight but theres not much else available for Floyd.Arum has publicly said that the four names for Pacquiaos next fight are Cotto,Peterson,Bradley or Marquez and that Pacquiao will NOT fight on May 5th.

  4. I think Mayweather wants it now that Pacquiao's legs have seemingly deserted him, he was clearly outmaneovred by Marquez, in fact he was well beaten.

Agree with Flea that Guerrero is a better fighter than Canelo, who isn't doing himself any favours by cutting loads of weight to make 154 continually.

Canelo should move up to 160. He's getting bigger, will be able to hone his skills better and no shortage of interesting and potentially lucrative fights for him.

    Is this a joke :fire

You have to think that if Khan had beaten Peterson he would have been in with a good shot at getting this.

  7. The negotiations over the British share of the TV money would be worthy of their own TV series.

Floyd's killer line would be ''you don't know ****, I'm bigger in your own country than you are''.

:happy fantastic news, better than i'd hoped for. :nut

    :tong Yes, im only joking!

Its a **** **** **** fight. I was hoping Floyd would at least fight a credible opponent (Cotto / Alvarez) if no Pac fight could be made, but i'd actually say this is worse than the news that spread last year about him fighting Morales (at least he has legendary status). What the **** has Guerrero done.

Will not buy on PPV (although if it's on boxnation im already contractually obliged to watch it).

I think Alvarez is th emuch better fight. He is naturally a lot bigger, powerful, has good punching power and he is active. While Floyd should beat him, what happens if Canelo catches him with his overhand right just like Mosley did?

Robbie G is a ery good fighter. Very quick, good power, and has raw ability. But isnt anywhere near a Welter.

Canelo's power is way overrated, in my opinion.

I think he does. I'm not saying he is a murderous puncher ala Hearns or Ishida (yeah, i went there), but he has enough powe to get anyone's respect at Light Middle. And he doesnt seem to be right hand happy as he throws his left with spite as well.
