It was not in the same f*cking league as the majority of Matchroom cards over the last year. Wake up, Jesus

A debutant who also happens to be an Olympic gold medalist and has a far bigger audience than Carl and would offer him much greater exposure.

Yeah, what a terrible thing to do.

That was simply a keep busy fight for Carl on the Hull card, not every show hes on has to be a top of the bill sell out in Belfast the kids only had 16 or so fights for **** sake.Like Hearn said he was trying to build Carls profile in the UK leading up to a world title shot.Mcguigan didnt want to hear it though and obviously had other ideas of making money off Carls back in Belfast.

I still think it was the wrong move for Carl Frampton, hes now chasing Martinez for a rematch even though he beat him and his UK rival is now a title holder and more likely to be in bigger fights even though his profile isnt as high.

Dont be surpirsed if Hearn gets Quigg a unification with Kikio and Carl Frampton is left with his dick in his hand.

**** off WTf you talking about, that card was great, Casey fight was good as was Hope O Kane, as for Frampton Hearn would have put him on the undercard of a debut, while Barry puts him top of the bill and sells out 9000 seats, the guy was ranked 4th and it was a final eliminator same as what Eddie would have offered except it would have been on someones undercard, Frampton will win the IBF and then guarantee go to America where he should be headed, Eddie and Sky wouldn't back Carl well done Barry quality card and amazing atmosphere

He only left Hearn a few months ago so he would be in exactly the same position interms of landing the Kiko fight if he was still with fast car.
Quigg unification? No chance mate- thats not how The Hearns do business. Mcguigan/BN will be able to offer Kiko more money - that fight will be made no doubt assuming Martinez retains.

That was 7 months ago he left Matchroom not a few,in that time frame Hearn has managed to get Scott Quigg a version of a world title and Kiko Martinez a guy Frampton beat leapfrogged him in the rankings to fight Jonathon Romero a fight Hearn was in the process of negotiating.I guarantee you Carl would have fought for or been scheduled to fight for a world title by now if he had stayed with Matchroom.

Spot on mate, McGuigan won't be able to move him on like Matchroom would.

That's because he is part of a profitable business. Why is that such a bad thing?

Rather that than someone who ****s people over left, right and centre.

You guys wont say what a great promoter Barry is when Frampton is fighting nobody's in Ireland for a paper title, that is what will happen.

Who said its a bad thing? It's absolutely fantastic I'm delighted for the Hearns.
I'm just pointing out that they do not really invest in there fighters interms of taking a financial 'risk' to bring champs over to the UK to give there fighters home advantage in the same way frank does, Hobson has done recently with McDonnell, and other promoters in the past. Maybe that's why frank is up and down interms of his various promotional companies but look at the some of the facts - Hamed, Eubank, Benn etc from back in the day have all said Frank was the best promoter they've worked with- (and Eubank started with Hearn Snr)
He made them all rich- Hamed was made for life before Frank took him stateside and then lost control as he became so big.More recently frank broke the bank to bring Tsyzu over for Hatton etc Hearn would not have made those type of fights and you know it. It's the reason why Barker had to go to America to get the Geal fight (frank would have got him over here) but who cares Darren won thankfully.

listen matchroom is a great business.. But apart from a Froch and some of the Olympians the fighters are on peanuts and frank pays more

The Hearn's are ruthless businessmen who don't care about the fighters or anyone else. Look at the **** Barry Hearn is causing over the Olympic football stadium just because he likes to sue people.

Eddie "I'm a fight fan like you" Hearn.......what a load of horse ****.

McGuigan is a wheeler dealer and knew he could do better for Frampton and himself away from Matchroom.

Frampton is more talented than Quigg and will earn a lot more when he heads Stateside.

McGuigan has been around the block and is nobodies fool.

The Hearn's are barrow boys from the East End.

"I won't sell it to you £10 not even nine pound. I wouldn't dream of asking you for 8 or 7 pound........no I'll sell you this piece of crap for a fiver and you'll be delighted until you get home and realised you've been conned."
