I guess it depends on what you see a "BIGGER"

If both weigh in at 160lbs and Pavlik has 3 inches of height on him then Choc would be bulkier, no?

In terms of power that would help. I'm just thinking that Mundine won't be outmuscled. At times Kessler's size and strength appeared to make a big difference.

    Gotta agree there.

Pavlik is lanky and though clearly strong, his lack of balance makes me think his trunk & core strength isnt all that great.

Choc is a strong bloke, he tackled 100kg+ forwards for a living before boxing (even though he was **** in defense wasnt he?).
He also showed Green couldnt outmuscle him and several other fair dinkum supermiddle couldnt either.

Thats very true mate... Id say Pavlik because he just walks blokes down real strong hard blokes like Miranda and Taylor... Whatever you throw he is strong and will keep coming... But i never underestimate Choc's toughness he is very strong also... Its his mental toughness however that needs to hold up... Like he did against Danny dont lose oyur game plan for one second because Pavlik will make you pay...

All I know is if Pavlik went toe to toe with Danny Green Kelly would be the one getting picked off the mat at the end.

    We will never no.
Green would have been laid out cold anyways.

Pavlik is in another league to Danny Green.

Mundines mental toughness is so under rated. He is very mentally tough.

Choc is one of the most mentally toughest blokes you will see... When he wants to be... When hes switched on like the Danny Green and Soliman nights he can beat alot of these fighters... But when he doesnt show up mentally he loses to C level fighters... Manny Siaca is a great example... If Choc brought the same mentality to the Siaca fight as to when he fought Green Siaca would have been gone in 5... But he thought Manny was an easy beat, turns out he had a fight on his hands and gave a disgraceful performance...

Mental toughness goes hand in hand with confidence. Siaca asserted his authority early in the fight and Choc couldn't get going. Manny's old man has been in the game for a long time and found the weakness to Choc at the time, which was basically to cut off the ring and pressure, pressure, pressure.

No arguement, Choc went missing. I remember wondering why he wasn't going hard in the last few rounds but looking back it was obvious he was outplayed physically and more importantly mentally.

Fast forward to Kessler, simlar type of fighter but better. He worked on his problems and stepped in with confidence. When placed under pressure he done more than just survive, he was competitive (to a degree) which brought on his confidence to fight back, not run.

After Kessler his confidence grew as did his mental toughness.

Yes you are right, the Siaca fight was shocking.

But overall Mundine is very mentally tough. Just consider all the **** that is said about him, all the hate, yet he marches on and proves ya all wrong, he has a real go, unlike most. Great focus.

Also, Mundine got KTFO by Ottke and could have easy gone back to League, but fought on a acheived his goals. Getting back up off the floor to fight on shows great heart and mental focus.

Boxingt is a ruthless game, and Mundine is very, very damm tough.

I don't think Mundine is mentally strong at all, and I don't think his fight with Green is any indication that he had learned a lot from the Kessler fight.
The Siaca fight was an off night, but you can't just forget about it when measuring his mental toughness.

A mentally strong fighter with Mundine's attributes (minus the mental attribute of course) should never lose to a fighter like Siaca like he did.

I tipped Mundine to beat Green when they fought, and was pretty sure he would beat him after his fight with Kessler too.

It's not that he opened up more in the Green fight, it's that he didn't get hit as much in it.

Green might have more power than Kessler, but his ability to land his shots 90% less often makes him a less dangerous opponent for mundine.

I'll gauge his improvement from the fight on when/if he fights Kessler next, not Green, as they are 2 very different fighters.

He looked in another world when Taylor (who has been garbage since Hopkins) nailed him.

so looks like Choc might be losing his prized paper title.

His mandatory fight with kessler is not going ahead because of the soliman fight. He needs to fight Kess by June or lose his title.

So once again choc will be without a title, so unless he's got another title fight lined up straight after the soliman fight he's without a belt once again. :patsch
