Hopefully they can work something out but without a doubt PAC deserves the lions share. I just hope it wasn't Arum who shot his mouth off too soon without getting a "FORMAL" signed agreement with PAC before makeing negotiations. When Arum sees $$$$$ he quickly tries to get in where he fits in regardless of doing things the right or professional way.

This is a great FIGHT! And I will be very dissapointed if it doesn't happen. But regardless PAC has plenty of options right now. Not as lucrative as this one but he's not strapped for cash..neither is Hatton. We'll see who wants the fight more. If Hatton does he'll agree to PAC's terms...if PAC wants it more he'll agree to what Arum cooked up.

All i want is to watch the fight, see Paq win and then fight PBF and beat him too. Now that would be the best thing for boxing!

Who has said he has unmatched boxing skills? Show me.

He is popular because he is fearless. Simple.

Like it or not big boy, football is easily the leading sport in the world and has a growing popularity in the US. MLS expanded a lot of it's stadia in the US recently to accomodate it.

Hatton had the PPV in the UK but Mayweather did get the lions share.....Floyd just didn't have dibs on any UK revenue. I don't think that was in question. Hatton does well with his numbers in the UK without a doubt but in the states he doesn't have much leverage or pull in generating money. I believe the split of 50/50 was agreed to by Arum for the US PPV and purse......the Puse should be higher for the person who brings more to the table and in the US that is PAC.....UK PPV's that will always go to Hatton.

What!? He said only recently what kind of champion would he be if he didn't move up to 147 to fight ODLH.

That was what he said in an interview talking about what he would do if ODLH beat Pac.

And you never showed me where all these people are that say Hatton has superior boxing skills?

The US PPV shares should be split 60/40, as Pacquiao is a more proven draw over there. The UK PPV shares should be 90/10, as Hatton is obviously the bigger draw here. Whatever money can be made in the Philippines, should be split 90/10 Pacquiao.

You are correct! MLS is gaining in popularity and aquiring Beckham was a strategic move to enhance visability for soccer in the states. I'm not sure how well it worked but Soccer has a long way to go in terms of popularity with americans. I don't particularly like watching it but I respect the skill, hard work and dedication it takes to be a pro athlete. And Soccer is very hard to be good at. You have to be in great condition.....I'd rather play than watch but for some reason my son likes it...not better than football but he likes to play it and I enjoy watching him do well. He's actually pretty good at 3 yrs.

I think many posters are getting their panties in a bunch b/c they don't really understand that the issues lies on the Purse and the US PPVs....Hatton will get the majority of UK PPV rev...that is a given but regarding the actual purse and the US PPV...the lions share is deservant of the fighter who is either the TOP GUY, DRAW or both.

Didnt he refuse DLH when they offered him the first time. Then he realize how much money he's missing?

I'm not gonna fetch that for you, I'm too lazy to read back on this thread. But like it or not, some people do think so. Just like how some people think pac can beat king kong.

Let me ask you this, does hatton have the balls to fight marg?? LoL
