According to Boxrec. That is very dissappoining. At least the Boswell option would have put him against a guy with some pop.

At least Povetkin is fighting. Hopefully he gets some rounds in and goes back to where he was a few years ago.

Leo Nolan. A decent fighter but let's see him step up higher. If he fights Leo next then Eddie Chambers deserves a higher ranking for sure.

I was under the impression he was supposed to be preparing for Wladimir, not preparing to become completely obscure and irrelevant in the division. Is this supposed to help him fight Wladimir Klitschko? Really? What would he gain from this step after fighting Byrd and Chambers?

Just get him back into fighting. I wonder if someone pulledf out of a fight and this is a replacement opponent? Povetkin is a high volume puncher for sure but he isn't a big puncher. It seems his people don't like to put him in with big punchers. Byrd, Chambers, Estrada and now Nolan. Chambers and Byrd are probably the hardest puncher of the bunch and are not known as big punchers by heavyweight pro boxing standards.

As long as Peter vs Povetkin takes place in january 2010 I dont care a fig who Povetkin will have in front of his fists on Huck's undercard.
Povetkin is a main event fighter but will appear on a relatively small fight card in december. You cant really expect him to fight a big name on such a fight show, can you! Money is the name of this game, and Povetkin's promoter is no spendthrift:D

I was hoping it would be Boswell a local guy here in Atlanta that can fight.

Nolan is not going to prepare Povetkin for Klitschko. Dumb fight.
