Totally agree and ive been saying this for a while, still get oddities like gmurphy, Dragon etc whinging on about Hearns offers and how its all his fault it hasnt happened. Is not a difficult concept to understand really either (that neither is ducking)

You admit Frampton is ducking Rigo then?

I stopped reading after the second sentance because it is painfully obvious that you are what we call a 'blinkered fanboy' towards Frampton and that you desperately want people to big up Frampton and **** on Quigg

Your man love is clouding your judgement :deal

Frampton - I want to fight Quigg, il beat him

Hearn - Here is a very generous offer then lets do this

Quigg - Yes, im more than ready. Il beat Frampton

Frampton - **** that im going to fight the guy i already beat

Mate your post is laughable and pathetic, don't generalise about people you know nothing about.

I think Quigg is one of our best current boxers and is carving out a good career for himself. I have seen him live twice and rate him highly, however in my opinion Frampton will win because, again in my opinion, I think he could be the real deal and that good he could give Rigo (who I think is a superb boxer and puncher) a decent match when they do fight in 18 months or so time.

Frampton just wants a recognised belt, so that when he has it they can negotiate better deals with the other champions, how can you not understand that you pre op? lol

Also the fact that you have copied another posters name on here and put a dot at the end to get under someones skin is sad and pretty pathetic.

The reason for Frampton's reluctance to take the fight with Quigg is down to the terms on offer.

Eddie Hearn's wants options on Frampton should Frampton win and this is the aspect of the offer thats unattractive.

Its all well and good Hearn, Quigg and Gallagher talking from their own standpoint but maybe they should explain a little more about what their offer entails.

Hearn clearly knows Frampton beats Quigg and will only sanction the bout if Frampton falls under his banner again once the inevitable happens.

How the hell is Quigg allowed classify himself as a "world champ" anyway given the proper WBA title is held by Rigo? Surely an interim champ must be mandatory for the real WBA champ as a matter of urgency?

Makes a mockery of the sport and i'd love to see the issue brought up when the fighter/promoter are on tv again.

You see Hearn explicitly said in an article in April this year he wanted NO otions on Frampton but did want a rematch clause in Belfast, now as we know thats a almost a standard request and also one that doesnt get utilised every time(Froch/Bute for example) . However when you point this out people come back with 'oh they cant fight due to promoter issues' which is an entirely different point.

What annoys me is the amount of people backing Frampton for calling out Quigg for ages and giving him ready made excuses to not fight.

The fight will happen when the BN deal is finished IF both come through their respective fights but whining about terms etc of an offer is stupid when they clearly have no intention to fight until the deal is over, Carl might as well admit that instead of barking on. Just seems fans of Frampton are too blinkered to see the truth.

How Quigg can claim to be World Champ, well he isnt really as we fans know but the fact is if you have the belt of a sanctioning body and youre not Floyd or Canelo then you big it up and 'respect' the org the belt belongs to for the benefit of your career, we may not agree but thats reality.

Any chance of actually having a discussion about this fight?

I'd like to hear how ppl think it's gonna pan out rather than the usual Frampton Quigg scenario

In all honesty I've not seen to much of LSC, I know Dougie Fisher rates him highly but I think he personally knows his whole family and there is a bit of a rages to riches story involved

He looks to have a very long torso can Quigg exploit that with his trademark body shots? I've heard he's pretty easy to hit too Quigg will not need to go looking for him

I don't think it beyond the realm of possibility that lsc could be vastly overrated, he kind of reminds me of a super bantamweight version of Nathan cleverly , and when he runs into a good puncher he could just get punched to peices instead of overpowering his opposition with his high punch output as he usually does

Then again he could also be a level above both frampton and quigg and be too much for them, I'm really on the fence about him I think there's a 50-50 chance that both these outcomes could happen

I'm glad you're picking Quigg MVC!.

Makes me feel all that more confident in picking Frampton should the fight.

edit: if anyone is a SBW version of Cleverly it's Quigg. His 'title run' stinks of Cleverly. At least Cleverly managed to not draw with a complete no mark.

I'm always suspect about high volume punchers, they always leave themselves open to be countered, I always knew it would happen to cleverly tho I thought his chin would have held up better.....

By the sounds of things it could go either way, will be an interesting fight if it can be made

Finally - a man after my own heart! If I had a Euro for every time Ive asked
    This content is protected
    I'd be a wealthy man.

I feel the jury is out a bit on LSC.
Despite having reached a high status as a "world champion" at superbantam, he is, believe it or not, completely unproven at the weight. (ie he has yet to fight a single career 122lber in his prime - or one out of his prime either!).
This is a bizarre contradiction - hard to find the likes of this situation in any other sport, or even elsewhere in the weird world of boxing for that matter.

Nevertheless his fan-friendly all-action style in the ring and his extremely pleasant manner out of it, mean that LSC is very highly thought of.

    Indeed, Murph.
Personally I have some trouble seeing a guy as "defensively challenged" as LSC getting the better of a monster puncher like Carl Frampton. His "tons of energy-ounces of defence, walk forward windmilling" style could get him killed by a precision boxer with a big punch (ie Carl). Alternatively he might out-monster Carl??? We shall see - I hope!

    Quigg-LSC would be facinating also.
