No cancellations this time. He's fighting a guy named Gene Pukall this saturday on the Wlad/Rahman undercard. Mind you, this is 3+ years after the Zumbrun fight. I can't even imagine how Riddick is gonna look this time out. You'd figure that the neurological exams that have been given to him would have yielded some type of result that would indicate the presence of brain trauma. It's a shame really.
Honestly, if "Big Fatty" Bowe was serious, he'd be in a title shot right now instead of dicking off with some pug with a losing record.... Bowe has been jackin' this comeback off since 2004.... How many fights has he had??? Jesus, this is weak...... Bowe best turn up the heat and make a decent effort / showing on Saturday night..... This stroke scene of his is getting old...... MR.BILL
Still no guarantee it'll happen. Bowe's previous cancelled fights since Zumbrun have come about when he simply didn't bother turning up on the day. On the other hand, he hasn't had the chance to be on a card this size for 12 years. He's also already located in Germany I believe, sparring, so won't have to travel far. Plus they're setting him up with the easiest of easy touches, so if Very Big Daddy is ever to turn up for a fight this should be it. And mark my words - if Holyfield gets the upset over Valuev, expect a lot of verbals from Bowe in hopes of a gift title shot.
Bring it on! Golota can finally get an official W over Bowe........or would he foul out again!?!? Wouldn't surprise me with Andy!
Bum?? Pukall a bum? Nah! He is an extremely limited journeyman, but not a bum.He always enters the ring and gives it a try.I watched him live on a small fight card in Germany's capital Berlin. He is a tough due with a very weak chin. Old geezer Bowe may actually find himself in deep trouble if he thinks he have an easy one round ko victory. He may come up against stiff resistance. We just dont know which way the cat will jump. Bowe may be as far over the hill as you can be as a living zombie not being a match for even such a limited but game foe l ike Pukall.
I didn't call him a bum. I never even heard of him until now. I don't call fighters that word. Anybody that steps into the ring has my respect. Even the most limited of fighters.
