    ESPN:

Roach told ESPN.com that he was approached by heavyweight titlist David Haye and his manager/trainer Adam Booth to train him for his mandatory defense against John Ruiz, which is supposed to take place in London in March or April. When Roach was in England working with junior welterweight titlist Amir Khan for his first-round knockout of Dmitriy Salita last week, Roach said he spoke with Haye and Booth. "Adam asked me if I would help them out and I also spoke to David," Roach said. "I think David is what the heavyweight division needs and I like what I see. I would love to work with him, so we will see what we can do." The timing may be a problem, however. Roach is committed to training Pacquiao for the Mayweather fight and plans to do the first month of their camp in the Philippines before finishing up in Los Angeles and Las Vegas

Fair enough, thanks for the info :good, he does seem to be taking on a heavy workload. Perhaps he's looking to cash in before he retires.

Definitely, he has too many fighters and some of them are well established champions, not in LA and don't think they will accept to play a second violin to anyone. Just too many fighters...

I think everyone is buying into Roach's abilities a bit too much lately. Don't get me wrong, he is clearly a worldclass trainer.. but now people have him pegged for some kind of miracle worker. Give Pac some credit for his own victories... as Roach himself says "Manny makes me look good".. it's like people have forgotten that Roach has sat in the losing corner plenty of times before.

Yeah don't forget when Enzo Calzaghe was white hot n led joe to victory over a Roach trained B-Hop. He is still the best trainer in the world right now imo though.

He had the same problem back in 2006/2007 and some of his top fighters (Viloria,Vasquez) were leaving him and they all said the same thing "Roach wasnt working with them enough".
