He needs that type of trainer. His 1-2 robotic style is going to get him killed against a dynamic southpaw like Martinez. He needs ALL THE HELP he can get.
Are you kidding me? It's different when you're a southpaw facing an orthadox opponent. However, when you're a southpaw facing another southpaw, the entire game changes, especially if you're not used to facing a southpaw with Martinez style. He needs a guy like McGirt to show him how to really box.
Hahaha, that's hilarious. :rofl But in actuality, I don't see why McGirt gets the kind of hate he does. Maybe its because I've only seen him train in the Hatton Malignaggi fight, but I thought he was giving Paulie good advice, the best he could. Enlighten me guys.

I think he is a good trainer but he does not give the best technical advices in the corner. Some fighters do not need them bc they can't adjust therefore it's all about making sure they stay motivated I guess. That might be his state of mind.
