Regarding his future opponents, I read that the above is the case. I don't know about any t.v deal he's tied to. I'm not suggesting that it isn't so, i'm simply not aware of it. Tua's fans will know better than me regarding that so the above t.v contract could certainly be right.

its to clear up this shitty contract kushner made him sign, its a $50,000 fight. not too many top guys would take this high risk low reward fight. but when his contract is cleared up, he'll be fighting the big names again. i think this a fight to give tua some publicity, because we all know tua is gonna brutally knock this guy out.

come on...this is new age boxing....these guys dont want each other....there are 4 kind of fighters out there

    1) champs or belt holders
    2) contenders
    3) no name , non threatning opponents for contenders until they get a shot
    4) boxers with names that have no chance to win who are opponents for contenders IE Bruce Seldon

good news, I'm sure it will be in preparation for his bigger fights. Got to say, it's been awhile since we saw him as a top rank heavyweight contender.

Tua should have retired ages ago. He's been a waste of time for nearly 5 years now and clearly isn't serious about the sport. Why anyone should care about this fat has-been is beyond me.

Where's Bigcat? Good to see his man Friday (hey...there's a joke there somewhere) getting a big fight like this.

Maybe if you look at the the sad state of the heavyweight division you'll see why people are still interested in Tua.

According to the news he will square off against teak tough African Friday Ahunanya. I dare to say that Friday will outpoint him and win a point decision.
Tua barely managed to win a point victory over American journeyman Robert Hawkins in one of his last fight.
Friday has an iron chin.Tua wont be able to knock him out.
If their encounter really comes off Friday will upset the apple cart and win that fight a la his compatriot Gbenga vs Lamon Brewster.

I thought that Tua defeated Hawkins quite clearly.

Anyway I don’t think Ahunanya is crafty enough to even survive against Tua.
