Looks like Wlad wants to fight Arreola

Arreola walks in straight lines to get inside, he'll just be blocking a barrage of jabs and straight rights with his face all night until his face looks like a pepperoni pizza.

Seth Mitchell would be brutalized! He needs many more fights, he's way to young and inexpericed for a KBro fight...

But hopefully in a few years he fights Wlad and we get a good fight...

 

Agree with most said but Dimitrenko is garbage, though I wouldn't mind seeing Arreola fight him, along with Fury, and Chisora, I'd like Arreola to wait atleast about 18 months before challenging for a belt again.

only reason i want to see it is because arreolla is lighter and looking faster.but still his opposition has been keek...with adamak and povotkin tied up arreolla is the only one there at the min who would prob have the balls to step up.plus with the chance to fight in usa again maybe its a gd move..

 

With Chambers/Thompson and Chagaev/Povetkin already lined up for paper title matches or eliminators. And 3 of those 4 already KO by Wlad with the 4th one refusing to fight him for 2-3 years. Who else is there, that could get enough publicity( at least in the states that is known by anyone). People will say Hellinous but he's still a bit green and unknown. Same with Fury who seems to want to wait a bit. Dimentriko had previuolsy turned down a fight( when Wlad was looking for Haye and it fell through and Mormeck turned don the offer, then Chisora accepted)

Hopefully chris can get through as a wbo mandatory to kill 2 birds with one stone. He'll have to fight winner of chambers-thompson soon and hopefully he'll get winner of pov-chag after that. That's 3 top ten contenders in a row with two arguably top 5.

If the fight takes place next summer, and Arreola lives the gym and has 3 warm-up fights i'd give him a decent shot at Wlad.

 

Who else is a reasonable option for the circumstnaces?

Vlad is fighting next in the U.S.

HBO needs a guy who will have U.S. appeal and will fight hard.

It is really a no brainer. In fact; This has probably been the plan since before the Haye fight. Look at the bright side. At least we will get to see Cris and his wife and daughter all cry once again.

Arreola showed enough aggression and heart in the Vitali fight to warrant a fight with Wlad given his recent activity. I'd be excited by this one :good

That would be a pretty good run of fights, and by then guys like Helenius and maybe even Fury would feel ready for a shot

 

Wlad lands less than half of Vitali's punches.

 

That's an exaggeration but Vitali does have a higher connect percentage than Wlad does. Generally speaking Vitali is a busier fighter too, throwing an unheard of amount of punches per round.

 

:deal Yea, Arreola should get his feet wet again with a worthy challenger like Helenius so he'll know whatever happens in that bout Wlad will be twice as worse. I think give it one year, just hope thanksgiving dont ruin it for Chris.
