Yep, I've said this for months, even before the Hopkins fight that Calzaghe had no business at 175: too small framed, not a big puncher, relies on speed/agility, which would necessarily be compromised by the added weight. Too bad he's not fighting Jones at 168. Still, I think he's past his prime by a few years and shouldn't give in to the urge to keep fighting. He's setting himself up for getting ktfo.

 

His man tits alone weighs about 168, so maybe he can add those to the resume.

Considering Ottke is used to referees stopping his opponents to save him from further punishment, I would imagine he would be up for that.

 

nobody is beating calzaghe at 168 and no middleweight is moving up to beat him either...bottom line. i wish hed fight dawson though.
