    Anybody notice that he always had absurdly lose ropes tailored made for him.

    Don't say that.

    Angelo Dundee was his manager , wasn't he ?

    But I did not notice it in the Toney fight (which I watched long ago) , nor in the Kalambay fight (for an obvious reason)

    It was very very clear in the Barkley fight and i thought i saw it against Toney. It is very obvious against Barkley.
