British Taylor fans are acting like Lopez has no shot against Taylor. Wrong, Lopez should in fact be favored over Josh.

Y'all must have forgot. Lopez beat Lomachenko. Who was only 32 years old at the time and never been in any nasty wars.

The first time somebody beat a fighter of that caliber since 2016 when Kovalev beat Ward. And I didnt hear anybody talking about how small Ward was either, but since he was robbed that wasnt an official victory. You guys act like Lopez is 5'11 and diesel.

It was the first time somebody officially beat an actual A level fighter in their prime since 2008 when Pac decisioned Marquez.

So, spare me the Lopez is out of his depth BS. Nobody who beats Loma is out of their depth when it comes to fighting Taylor. Maybe if you were talking about Duran or Whitaker, sure, but Taylor ain't no Duran that's for sure.

You guys are in for a rude awakening when Taylor is overwhelmed by Lopezs explosiveness. But sadly, I doubt the fight will ever happen. It's more likely that that Taylor ducks Lopez and says he hasnt done enough despite beating better competition than Taylor.

Josh has no intentions of fighting Lopez. Because he understands the implications. Nothing, but an ass whooping would be headed his way.

Why does everything have to be black and white. I can't take anyone seriously who says a top level fighter is a bum. A bum is a bouncer who fights in bingo hall bouts. I'm sure Taylor would fight Lopez, I'm sure it would be an interesting fight, I'm sure both of them are good fighters regardless of who wins.

Lopez needs to take care of his own business with Kambosos first.

I thought Lopez was decent against Loma, but Loma didn't throw for 6 rounds, and when he started Teo didn't like it very much.

I'd take Taylor (and Prograis / Ramirez too) to have stopped a one-armed Loma - the size difference there is just too much.

Is Lopez good enough to beat the top 3 ay 140? Possibly, I'd like to see him in with a Postol or Barancyk 1st. That would show us a lot on how Teo deals with folks his own size.

And that's the same advice i'd have for Taylor if he decides to move to 147 - he needs at least 1 or 2 fights at the weight b4 throwing it all in against the top names IMO.

Great post. It bugs me as well, always extremes, when reality is all the shades of grey in between.

Taylor is legit, but is at 140 right now.
Lopez is legit (but has more questions to answer IMO), but is at 135 right now, with a potential banana skin coming up if he is sleeping on Kambosos, getting distracted of 140 and double Undisputed etc.

Might they match down the line? Yup, and I would really like to see that fight, but right now I don't think it's an easy night for either of them. And stuff like "overwhelmed by Lopezs explosiveness" has me rolling my eyebrows, sounds very similar to the folks saying he'd "crumble to Ramirez relentless body assault" and other such exaggerations.

That went over your head. Taylor has a built in excuse when he loses to Crawford. That bud was iust too big. He wont have that one against Lopez.

So there is only two options ? BUM or GREAT ? There is nothing between them ? Like a solid fighter ? or decent ?

P.S. none of those two fighters are great, but they are good. (nothing special of course, but good champions)

Once he taste Teo's power and explosiveness. He will run Loma style! Let's see not many can take Teo bombs except that kid from Japan who has some chin. Ramirez is overrated in every facet power is average, speed is poor and explosiveness doesn't exist. Sure Josh looks good. But did he look good because of the opp?

I think if you held this fight next there are about equal chances that it looks ridiculous and Taylor batters him or that it's a very good fight could go either way.

Crawford started at 135, is also shorter than Taylor

I can't see how anyone can claim Taylor is too small.

FFS Taylor is the naturally bigger man

I suggest for Crawford and his fans to build up excuse why they talked about Pacman so long and where will be fight?
Also build excuse why he did not fought Spence Jr, yeah, I do know current excuses, soon will be 1 year old excuses.
Bad uncle bob, bad Spence Jr does wish too much money.

Crawford ofc might wish to be a weight bully vs Taylor in US, never in U.K.

For reason he does have fanbase who accepts that this king fought Mean Machine, talked about Pacman and Spence Jr while fans are talking about calling out 140 lbs division boxer.

Crawford is hometown weight bully with excuses.

Crawford is a far superior and refined boxer than Lopez and is bigger.

Also Loma deserved a draw at the least in that fight because he won rounds 2, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11. The debateable rounds are 2 and 6, but again, Loma outlanded Lopez with the cleaner shots. Lopez landed on elbows and arms but had Bradley on his side so everyone thinks they actually landed.

Lomas volume in round 1 to 6 was off which is true .. However, people say Loma didn't do **** for the first 6 round (which is not entirely true , he won rounds 2 and 6) but Lopez was not effectively cutting off the ring and was barely landing any punches of himself.

Considering all this and the fact Loma had one arm and was fighting a guy who is at least 2 or 3 weight divisions bigger than him, Lopez hype is not going to last long.

I have no doubt whatsoever that Lopez will get beat by good opposition his own size. In fact Lopez should have lost to Nakatani and he got a gift there.

Lopez is just a delusional clown and unfortunately he has the fanbase that comes alongside his delusion
