I guess he should just target other beltholders.

He may be able to get what Chris John has. Not sure if he can recover from his losses though.

Why would Lopez be able to beat John? :huh

The Dragon has as good a chin as Salido and is more defensively oriented.

Plus, JuanMa certainly isn't winning a decision against him - especially not in Jakarta, which is where this would take place.

I doubt if it will bein jakarta, Lopez still in Top Rank so he has more levergae in negotiations.

They why I said could, not really saying he will.

Well, I won't be too sure about the chin thing. Rocky Juarez manage to crack him and John was on ***** street. Lopez could certainly do more damage.

Problem is that neither fighter would be willing to travel to the opponent's backyard, so the fight is unlikely to happen
If it does, it will surely go to the scorecards - Juanma would win in PR and John would win in Jakarta
If the fight ever happens on a neutral ground, I think John would UD Juanma

honestly if you rewatch the fight, in the later rounds what hurt CJ was more sheer exhaustion rather than RJ's power, CJ's problem is more stamina than chin - he does have a decent chin

Plus, prime Rocky was pretty dangerous. He had MAB on his bike for the entire rematch.

Going forward, I'd pretty much watch any Juanma fight.

Any of you guys think maybe Juanma needs to move up in weight. Wasn't this an issue some time ago?

He had to lose 54 lbs at breakneck pace for one bout.

This time he supposedly made weight with no problem, well ahead of schedule.

Unless Chris John's health has rapidly failed him he would shut out Lopez. Lopez looked slow and wide and a little confused against Salido. Chis John is as sharp as they come. John would be walking Lopez into bombs all night.
