I was watching some of Taylors fights before this one and I just couldn't help but to think "this guy is nothing special. You sure Teo lucked out?
Context matters, I believe there was something going on with Taylor last night. Something did not seem right, we wlll soon find out.
I posted this last night: "What's your excuse going to be tonight, Taylor". Lo and behold, the excuses begin.
I think that’s what he wanted to announce at the end of his fight but the interviewer didn’t let him and moved on to interviewing Taylor
Not sure if there's an angle to this but he could use the time for some personal development. Teo has been showing signs of mental degradation for the past 2 years. Mental health is genuine reason for a 25 year old to go into hiatus. Hope he drops his toxic father too
I thought Taylor was going to take Lopez to the cleaners, pick lopez apart, make Lopez look foolish. Now, Taylor was a shell, unmotivated bla bla bla. LOL. Some guys just can't man the **** up and say they got it wrong. That last part not directed towards you. But, you know what I mean.
We don't know the extent of Loma's injury and how it affected him in the fight. Did it look like it botherd him from 8-12? He Loma threw more punches in the 12th than 1-6 combined. So what happened? He couldn't throw in the 1st half of the fight then he felt a pop and everything was good? When it was all said and done Lopez went into the Loma fight 100% and Loma believed he could win with an injury. He was wrong. But not giving Lopez credit for the win isn't right. It's no diffrent than If Loma didn't train hard and partied the night before the fight and lost. We can sit back at contemplate the ifs all day, but what happened happened. Lopez 1, Loma 0.
He never said I am retiring. He is just posting crape to get attention. The guy was damn near broke before the Kambosa fight so he isnt the smartest took with money. He will fight as soon as the money get spent. If he does take a hiatus then hope the belts gets relinquish.
Go watch some of his earlier fights, especially the WBSS ones. It´s clear that he has regressed as a fighter. Plus he has been fighting once a year since 2019. I doubt anyone can be at their best with such a schedule.
You have a point I just don't understand what happened last night, somehow Taylor lost all confidence and was focused on surviving. First time I have been truly dumb-founded watching a fight.
