I was supporting Taylor last night but Lopez was just awesome, I thought. The venom in his counter jab just broke Taylor's spirit. Fair play to Josh for his attitude in defeat, can't have been easy.

Didn't have a horse in this race but I gotta admit....I'm enjoying seeing the saltiness from some of the people on here

Where is the sympathy? The solidarity for your fellow human beings?

So.... Teofimo is messed up in the head, this much is obvious. Now we have to ask ourselves about the root of him being messed up in the head. Is it that he is just a bad person? No that's oversimplification, you can't just go around classifying people as good and bad, if you do then you rob yourself of the opportunity to understand the cause of their issues.

There are a few possible causes for Teofimos shortcomings, none of them can be attributed to any actions that he himself has taken. Possibilitie 1. Genetic, a predisposition to developing a brain that doesn't work that well. 2. Issues that happened during formation in the womb of his mom. A lack of oxygens, nutrients, reactions to medicine or contaminants, possibly alcahol or something else that caused this person to be born with the issues that he has. 3. Social circumstances, it does look like his dad isn't the smartest man, imagine growing up by the side of that dude and having to listen to his nonsense, eventually this nonsense would also seep into your brain and mess you up.

Regardless of any issues that Teo has faced he is already almost a hall of famer and has achieved alot at his young age.

Go catch Teo in an interview weeks before the fight with KO sports. Nothing like the **** show he gave up to the fight.
The only one not surprised with what he did is him.Yeah, hes got a screw loose but Taylor did exactly what he thought he would do.
Got hit in the face in 3 and 4 and went for the kill just as they figured he would. His trainer after the fight says as much, and kids himself on much of the rest giving Taylor 1 thru 4 and 10 needing 11 and 12 for the win.
Taylor and his coach have different takes the morning after the fight so we will see where they go.
But Taylor walked straight ahead head on the line as Lopez hoped for from 3-4 on.
So Lopez retire? Please. Court and kids... Hes an Ex fighter now, your honor.
And regardless of the POs his dad is the kid was crazy like a fox this fight and here. The rest of the 140 belts are his if he shows up when the time comes.

    Classic move.

Out of contract, say you're retired, create a bidding war, up your value.

    Lather, rinse, repeat.

I think he is doing this so he doesnt have to pay the ex. He lives in NY? So that is a couple of years of alimony maybe?? If he makes zero money , whatever % he owes her is zero. After that the fool will be in the hook for 20% of his income till boy turns 18.

Take a 2 year hiatus and cone back.

Mentally? He's totally a kid. If not for boxing, he'd still be hanging out on the corner.. probably still wants to.
