It’s not hard to see this from his point of view.

    Still disappointing though.

Only the Loma groupies are disappointed in no rematch, because they're still in a denial phase.

Loma lost 8-4 and got the **** beat out of him in the last round. I dont need to see a renatch.

Moving onto to other matchups. I'd rather see Lopez-Haney or Lopez-Taylor.

Loma should go back to 130.
The first 5 rounds were difficult to watch and folks use to call Floyd boring :BangHead: but Floyd let his hands go while in defense mode.

The second half of the fight was nice but I don’t want to sit up all night to watch one guy box a moving target for 5 rounds because watching paint dry is more entertaining :bash:

No rematch clause because they know Teo is the real one. Loma was going to hokus pocus his way to victory. But this time Teo ain't letting him do that. It's real! You with the real one now. That matrix stuff ain't going to work.

    Real recognize real.

If he wants a rematch, it's gonna happen on his terms and he's fully entitled to it. It's hard to cry robbery when you do nothing for 5 straight rounds.

Even though I would prefer to have a rematch I can see why he wouldn't want to do one. Both Loma and Lopez already laid it out that there would be no rematch because it would be all or nothing. Loma's team should have thought twice about not including a rematch clause and thinking that they would walk through Lopez. I don't blame Lopez, gotta stick to your words.

I'm a Loma fan and I'm fine with no rematch. I think that there are too damn many rematch clauses when there need not be. Unless the fight is a draw or a split decision...............damn an immediate rematch.

I'm fine with that. I hate that every upset or big fight has to have instant rematches now. It just leads to way less variety in the matches.

I wouldn't mind them having a few more fights, then many having another go if they're still at the same weight, if it doen't happen it's not the end of the world.
