Teofimo Lopez lost after planning a knock out and failing with no plan B. Since he was unable to knockout Loma, who is naturally a few weight classes below lightweight, I attributed that to Lomas defense. Now he landed flush on Kambosos multiple times in round one and Kambosos kept moving forward like a warrior.

QUESTION: Is this more because Lopez isn't as powerful as advertised or more due to Kambosos chin?

There seems to be a growing list of boxers who catch Covid and then come back looking less than we remembered them. For me, Beterbiev looked average is his first bout back after Covid, Tyson Fury was a lesser version of himself in third Wilder bout compared to the second after Covid. Of course we can't forget how Povetkin ate Dillian Whytes soul before catching Covid and the list goes on and on.

Lopez still seemed like Lopez and went twelve rounds. Do you believe he really had Covid, or did he just need more time for whatever reason?

I think that Kambosos is just the better fighter.

I think Kambosos has a solid chin, Lopez's power is slightly overrated and George is too fast, too accurate and simply outboxed him.

i dont think he trained properly, and was spending himself through fight week. the raw material is still all there, he just sabotaged himself.
i will ad that kambosos performed brilliantly. took what teo brought, then answered emphatically.

Its a bit of both imo. Lopez landed some hard shots but the Aussie took them well, but what surprised me most was Kambosos ability to box when he needed to. That said, i think Lopez underestimated Kambosos boxing skills and it cost him big. I think he now realizes this.

That bookmarking was in one fight. My prediction on the outcome of this fight was actually real close. You should check it out.

Kamboso was rolling with a lot of the punches. He kept his chin tucked and never gave Lopez the opportunity to land a completely flush shot.

He even rolled with the punch that knocked him down. Almost every time Lopez landed a punch, Kambosos was moving away from it to lessen the impact.

I doubt it, Teofimo doesn't seem like the introspective type, he's probably still convinced that he won the fight. Denial is a hell of a thing. But that's the only thing his ego will allow at the moment, it's either that or he spirals.

great training camp vs a training cramp
great game plan with many plans vs one idea to knock him out
great corner vs a dog **** corner

I think Teo is the more skilled of the two but he sure didnt show it for the majority of the fight.
him claiming he won 10 rounds makes me question if I want to see his next fight as a fan.

Idk man. You beat one of the best p4p fighters in the world your EGO will get inflated. He was riding high and came into the fight with kambosos very overconfident. This learning experience will either help him, or break him imo. Im leaning towards the former and i expect teo to come back better his next fight.
