Get a load of this crap

“Everything was fine," Lopez Sr. said, via Seconds Out. "I was 100 percent sure we were going to win. For some reason, the game plan, my son didn't do what I told him he was supposed to do. His rhythm was supposed to be different... Congratulations to [Stevenson] for winning, but that was not my son in there. I think the media — everything leading up to this fight was talking already about Shakur fighting in May. The winner [of this fight] was supposed to fight in May. I think that probably got to him."

What a waste of Teo Jr's natural athletic talents to be coached by such an egomaniac like his father

What a stupid excuse. Just say the better man won. It wasn't him in there? Yes it was.

Maybe he should take some of the blame and say I wasn't giving my son the right advice maybe we could've had a different game plan.

He's 28. Needs to move on from Daddy and get someone in who knows what they are talking about.

If daddy is such an ego driven control freak, junior is probably afraid to move on. Imagine family gatherings?

My favorite advice from him was "SHOW ME POWER BRO" or "YOU'RE GONNA HATE YOURSELF TOMMOROW"

Thurman beat Guerrero, Porter and Garcia; all of whom were trained by their daddies. Its kinda insane how many world class boxers come from fathers who are not really that experienced in boxing themselves.

lopez sr is a mutt. tiny little man. hes been eating off his sons plate since he got off government assistance and then abandons him at the lowest point in his sons life. a real father would have shouldered the blame for his sons fall, even if he wasn't responsible. your son is the only reason you walk around pretending youre sombebody, you cheap clown.

All things considered I think Teo has done a lot for himself with a father like that he could've turned out much worse. Time for him to move on from his dumbass dad.
