    shh don't jinx it. The only other fight i wouldn't mind watching them fight is chris john. If gamboa or lopez fights john next then i'm fine with it.

    Other than a chris john match up for either fighter, they have no one else to fight. They are the top 2 @ 126. They gotta fight each other. Arum knows how to hype up any fights.

    Not for awhile. I see both Lopez and Gamboa fighting every top contender in the division before each other. Arum wants to make this fight as big as it can get.

    Lopez is fighting salido next and if gamboa can fight and beat john next then that should be it. They pretty much defeated most of the top 10 featherweights after those fights.

    this fight isn't happening soon. Arum cites how bad a supposed 'super fight' between Alexander/Bradley tanked at the gate, and on HBO. Ideally you would like to let it 'marinate' in order to build business. However if either Gamboa or Lopez loses, forget about it. If anything have them fight this year, and a rematch the following year while both men are at their athletic peak. Cotto/Margarito II and Gamboa/JuanMa July 16th at the new Giants Stadium would be the way to go.
