It would explain Rafa not keeping his hands up and not throwing too many rights. Marquez is too proud to fake an injury. He's been in too many wars to rag on for stopping the fight. There probably won't be a rematch but I hope there is. Juanma was rocked hard in the fourth. Looked worse than Marquez ever did even toward the end getting landed on.

I always have to laugh that after siding with the general consensus, some posters still feel the need to say, "I told ya'll". You told us the favorite was going to win? What? Really?

 

The only "shocker" about it was that it wasn't as easy as expected for Lopez. He had some awful shaky moments and I really didn't think Marquez wouldn't have the power to hurt him considering moving up in weight.

 

thank God Rafa is 35 years old, I knew Lopez would win but Rafa did a good job hurting Juanma, it was an amazing fight while it lasted, was on the way to fight of the year. Mad respect to Rafa
