    Rough translation:

Juan Manuel "Juanma" Lopez plácemes you to know that the undisputed champion of 122 pounds, Israel Vazquez, would have no objection to both facing possibly in June 2009.
"I am very happy to know that Israel is ready to fight me. I know he (Vazquez) is going to find a big bag of money for that fight, like me, but the idea is to do the night before the Puerto Rican Parade in New York, "said Lopez yesterday FIRST TIME.
In an interview with this newspaper, Vazquez said the young Puerto Rican champion "would represent a challenge" for him and that he would not have objection to formalize a meeting "as long as it is economically attractive."
"Everything will depend on the negotiations," said Lopez. "It's a fight that interests you so much to fans as Mexicans to Puerto Ricans. Now Vazquez and Rafael Marquez are the two best in the division and if one wants to be the best cataloged eventually have to face them both.
The Puerto Rican has set an ambitious agenda that includes defending supergallo the scepter of the World Boxing Council (OMB) on December 6 in Las Vegas and then make another defense early in 2009 to look after the litigation with Vazquez in June.

I wanted Lopez to face Marquez first since he is now aging. But hell, Lopez vs Vasquez sounds beautiful!!!

Its funny how without a doubt Marquez is considered the second best at that weight class even though he is not a champ. Shows how much the belts are a joke. The champions should always be the best.

Yea, that would make more sense to me 2. It would also build up a vasquez-juanma fight even more (if juanma would win)

Literally salivating at the prospect of that fight. Obviously a lot can happen between now and then but what a fight that would be. Personally, I think Vazquez will just be too strong and experienced for JuanMa. Either way the kid ain't got a lot too lose, if he wins he moves on to superstar level if he loses it's a learning curve for him.

I agree totally. Nonetheless, these three fighters should get rid of the weak champs like Caballero.

I totally agree with this post too! It can possibly be a win/win situation for Lopez depending on how he wins (if he does) or how he loses.

which fight will come first, Vasquez vs Marquez or Vasquez vs Lopez? If Vasquez vs Marquez, what happens if Vasquez will lose? Will they change the fight into Marquez vs Lopez?
