He leveled some very serious accusations against that ref...I'm not so sure about PR but if that had been Central America, Columbia or Venezuela and the crowd believed him.. that ref could of been capped by some foo as he left the venue.

It's one thing to say it in print...but on live T.V, during an emotional time for a lot his fans who would be already angry and hurt..its straight up dangerous.

People (even boxers) need to be held accountable for their actions, if this suspension helps set the example then so be it.

Tyson bit a mother****er's ear off, Margarito was caught loading his ****ing wraps and Judah attacked a ref for stopping a fight, and all three of them received the same exact 1 year suspension. Sorry, but leveling some serious accusations doesn't come close to what those other three did and therefore hardly warrants the same sentence.

They should take into account that Lopez just lost, again, to the same guy. Plus he took a real beating. Lopez should not be punished by a one year suspension.
But i think its good for him if he wants to continue with his career. He should take a nice vacation, rest his body and then rebuild himself.

I aint defending those penalties...those are a joke and I have said that for years. 1 year ain't that long in boxing these days, thats 2 fights max for a lot of fighters.

They should have got a **** load longer...In JuanMa's case I think it's appropriate, in the others they werent.

The guy was out of his head when he said those things, heavy fine would have been good enough.

Hey yo chico, Juanma never belonged at 126 anyways. Salido was too big for him. I've never seen a mexican so big in my life before. Jusnma shouldve spoke out against the commision not their cronie for not making it a fair fight, papi.

Based on precedent this suspension is clearly unwarranted. Dude made some stupid ass comments ie. "I was dominating the fight", but neither you nor I know if he actually has reason to believe that the ref has a gambling problem. Maybe that ugly mother****er does.
