Lopsided decisions in fights between two "elite" fighters?

    What are some of the most lopsided decisions between two "elite" or very good fighters where people thought it would be competitive but it turned out to be one sided? I know there are a lot and i'll start it off with a few.

    1) Winky/Trinidad - Maybe THE most lopsided schooling ever without actually KOing a guy.

    2) Calzaghe/Lacy - Almost as bad as fight above.

    3) Hopkins/Tarver - Hopkins was 3-1 underdog. Only lost one round on scorecards.

    UH i would say Lewis vs TUA . Tua was an elite HW at the time

    and one wich was worse was BYRD VS TUA .

    That DRAW between Lewis and Holyfield is a good example.

    Mijares/Arce

    Arce isn't exactly elite, but most people thought he was going to destroy Mijares. How wrong they were...

    In the three you mentioned, only the winners could have been considered 'elite' at that point. But all were world class top opponents.

    And Calzaghe/Lacy was more lopsided than Winky/Trinidad. Trinidad took 1 round I believe, Lacy didn't take a minute of a single round and took a more severe beating.

    uh wrong lacy was considered elite in that weight class as he was rated in the top 5. for the weight class inpaticular. there for all are consider elite.:good

    Arce was considered elite at fight night and Mijares wasnt.

    It was suppose to be a gimme fight for Arce to get a belt and a setup a fight with M.Castillo.

    Yeah Arce was the heavy favorite but Mijares blew him out in devestating fashion.

    Someone beat me to Tarver/Hops...but Barrera/Pac 1 was pretty sick.

    It should not be on my list.


    Hopkins-Tito shouldn't be on my list, it also ended by stoppage. It wasn't a lopsided decision.

    And Lacy and Tarver are not elite. Well, they were elite in their respective weight divisions at that time.

    The best example of this is definitely Jones-Toney.
